Job Title:  Director of Extinguishers

S.A. Comunale is seeking a Director of Extinguishers. Under the direction of the Chief Financial Officer, the Director of Extinguishers is responsible for overseeing the operations of all aspects of the extinguisher side of the business company-wide.

This job requires the ability and desire to work in a fast-paced multi-tasked environment with a focus on specific safety practices and health programs.  It also requires travel to branch office locations, jobsites and customer facilities

 Essential Duties / Responsibilities:

Responsible for overseeing the entire operations of the extinguisher department within the organization. Identify opportunities for department growth to improve efficiency and implement new strategies. A drive to sell and grow the extinguisher business. Work with the extinguisher field supervisors to guide management techniques. Ensure all fire extinguisher systems meet local, state and national regulations including NFPA standards. Ability to travel up to 50% of the time to conduct job site visits.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

The Director of Extinguishers is responsible for overseeing the extinguisher department in the organization.

Qualifications:

To perform this job successfully, the individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. High school diploma or GED is required. Bachelor’s Degree Business or related field is a plus. 7+ years’ fire protection experience, specifically extinguishers, is required. 5+ years of business-to-business sales is required. Knowledge of NFPA guidelines is required. Experience of managing a team is required. Ability to travel is required.

Computer Skills:

Computer Skills:  Significant experience with Microsoft Office applications (e.g., Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
