Job Description
We are seeking a talented and dynamic Director of Engineering who can lead and manage engineering projects with a focus on innovation and growth. This role is ideal for a seasoned project manager who aspires to advance into a director-level position. The successful candidate will be instrumental in managing and growing a highly diversified engineering department.
Responsibilities
Lead and manage a team comprising of project managers and administrative staff, ensuring efficient project execution and delivery.Oversee the preparation of RFPs, proposals, and submittals, ensuring compliance with organizational standards.Collaborate closely with the general manager and receive support from the leadership team to organically grow the department.Create and maintain strong client relationships and influence the sales team and market direction.Manage project budgets, oversee customer interactions, and ensure alignment with the company's strategic goals.Essential Skills
Proven experience in people management and leadership within engineering or project management roles.Solid understanding in engineering management, preferably in mechanical engineering.Proficiency in Solidworks and other relevant engineering tools.Additional Skills & Qualifications
Experience in automation, manufacturing, or construction industries is highly desirable.A bachelor's degree in a science-related field is preferred but not mandatory for candidates with significant field experience.Strong ability to manage teams, advocate for necessary changes, and push back when needed.A positive attitude and historical capability of managing diverse project scopes in the automation space.Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $120000.00 - $175000.00/yr.
