Job Summary Job Summary Monitors and evaluates financial and productivity information to achieve operational benchmarks. Develops positive professional relationships with physicians and intra-departmental peers. Responsible for leading strategic planning for future business planning initiatives; formulating budgets for current and future services; developing specific objectives, goals, targets and action plans to implement the shared mission and vision of the health system. Actively supports and promotes the shared mission and vision of Norman Regional Health System to achieve strategic goals. Develops and promotes employee engagement within the department and health system. Qualifications Knowledge of inpatient, outpatient and professional coding. Demonstrated expertise in compliance and adherence to regulations for coding and utilization review. Knowledge of denials, charge master and/or clinical documentation improvement preferred. Education Bachelor of Science in Business or Healthcare field, or Health Information Management. Masters in Healthcare or Business viewed favorably. Experience Minimum 5 years of management experience in combination of Coding, Clinical Documentation Improvement, Utilization Review and Denials or related management/consulting experience. Prefer in a large hospital (300+ beds). Licensure/Certification/Registration/ETC. RN, RHIT or RHIA licensure/certification required Work Shift Day
