Delaware North is hiring a Director of Data Governance to join our team. Ideally, the Director will be located in Buffalo, NY, however, remote or hybrid may be considered.

Pay

Minimum \u2013 Anticipated Maximum Base Salary: $157,400 - $212,500 / year

In addition to base salary, we offer an annual bonus plan based on company and individual performance, or a role-based, uncapped sales incentive plan. The advertised pay range represents what we believe at the time of this job posting, that we would be willing to pay for this position. Only in special circumstances, where a candidate has education, training, or experience that far exceeds the requirements for the position, would we consider paying higher than the stated range. What will you do?Develop and lead the enterprise data governance strategy, aligning it with business goals and major transformation initiativesPromote data culture by championing data literacy, stewardship, and ethical data use across the organizationDesign and implement a comprehensive data governance framework, including policies, standards, and operating models for data quality and lifecycle managementOversee governance tools and processes, including the selection, adoption, and tracking of data domains, lineage, and systems of recordFacilitate cross-functional collaboration, leading the Enterprise Data Governance Council and partnering with Legal, Risk, Compliance, and IT teamsProvide expert consultation to senior leadership and project teams, supporting regulatory compliance, transformation initiatives, and continuous improvement

More about youHigh degree of expertise in data governance, master data management, and data lifecycle techniquesExperience with data management, modeling, architectureImplement and maintain data monitoring and quality standards using governance tools across metadata, lineage, and stewardship Apply knowledge of data architecture and platforms to support scalable and compliant data environments Support ERP implementations such as SAP, Oracle, and Workday, from a data governance perspective, ensuring alignment with enterprise standards Hold relevant certifications such as CDMP, PMP, Prosci, or ERP-specific credentials; preferred but not required
