Director of Data Center and Networks
**Description** Leidos Office of the Chief Information Officer is seeking a **Director of Data Center and Networks** . This position offers full time telework. **POSITION SUMMARY:** This position is to lead our Data Center and Networks team that solutions and supports all of our on-premises infrastructure within the organization. The team is responsible for the full life cycle of refresh, replace and maintenance of all systems within our data centers, offices and any other site supported by OCIO. The Data Center and Networks team is a critical component of the Technology Capability and Service Delivery (TC&SD) organization responsible for designing, implementing, and managing secure, scalable, and high-performing systems. This team ensures seamless connectivity, reliable data center operations, and robust network designs to meet the evolving needs of Leidos. The Office of the Chief Information Officer (OCIO) reports into the Digital Modernization Sector and collaborates across organizational lines to deliver effective enabling digital capabilities to our global employee base. The OCIO team develops, deploys, and manages innovative digital capabilities leveraging industry-leading partnerships and cost-effective deployment and management models. The OCIO is seeking leaders to drive efficient capability delivery and management, more opportunities for innovation, and facilitate data-driven decisions across the enterprise. **PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:** + Cultivate and grow a services-based, data center and networks organization that balances technology modernization with cost efficiency + Lead cross functional teams in design, implementation and support of all corporate on-premises infrastructure systems inclusive of Servers, Storage, Networks and related components + Identify and Prioritize automation opportunities across product and operational workflows with a special emphasis on developing fully automated deployments with IaC capabilities + Possess and foster a fundamental knowledge of IT infrastructure systems in order to enhance our service offerings and make them as efficient as possible + Update and continuously manage a clear service catalog of offerings, to best facilitate our global employees’ work and enhance productivity + Maintain service excellence in data center and network operations + Identify opportunities to reduce technical sprawl, including technology for retirement + Evaluate new technology, partners, and capabilities for integration into our service catalog + Develop an outcome-based culture and cultivate and reward high performing teams + Work collaboratively with Digital Transformation & Business Enablement team to develop, codify, and test Customer Zero opportunities + Identify and drive productivity and cost-efficiency-driving KPI’s + Contribute to the CIO strategic roadmap of progressive opportunities for modernization, innovation, and system retirement + Champion and iterate on CIO’s product development platform capabilities and in conjunction with the CDAO for internal and external collaborators BASIC QUALIFICATIONS: + Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology related field and 12+ years of experience in IT management. Additional years of relevant experience, training, and/or professional certifications will be considered in lieu of a degree. + 4+ years of experience leading teams or IT projects with demonstrated competency in the full range of stakeholder management, either as a direct manager of influencer + Demonstrable experience leading geographically-dispersed technical teams through large scale organizational change + Demonstrable experience developing and executing a strategic vision through to deliver capabilities to an enterprise + Familiarity with IT infrastructure systems and their capabilities + Exceptional written and oral communication skills to work closely with numerous stakeholders from diverse organizations. + Experience with successfully managing P&L responsibilities + Engineering background with MBA strongly preferred **Original Posting:** July 21, 2025 For U.S. Positions: While subject to change based on business needs, Leidos reasonably anticipates that this job requisition will remain open for at least 3 days with an anticipated close date of no earlier than 3 days after the original posting date as listed above. **Pay Range:** Pay Range $148,850.00 - $269,075.00 The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline onlyand not a guarantee of compensation or salary.
