About Your Role

In the role as Director of Cryptography, you will lead our key management cryptographic initiatives to ensure the security of our data. You will have a deep understanding of cryptographic principles, a proven track record in implementing cryptographic solutions, and the ability to lead a team of cryptography experts.

What you’ll do:

Develop and implement cryptographic strategies to protect sensitive dataLead and manage a team of cryptography professionals, providing guidance and mentorshipCollaborate with other departments to integrate cryptographic solutions into various systems and applicationsConduct risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies for cryptographic vulnerabilitiesStay up to date with the latest advancements in cryptography and related technologiesEnsure compliance with relevant regulations and standards related to cryptography and data securityOversee the development and maintenance of cryptographic policies and proceduresProvide expert advice on cryptographic matters to senior management and other stakeholders

Experience you’ll need to have:

10+ years of experience in cryptography, including symmetric and asymmetric encryption, hashing, digital signatures, and key management10+ years of experience with cryptographic protocols and standards (e.g. AES, RSA, ECC, TLS, etc.)5+ years of experience in leading and managing a team of cryptography professionalsBachelor’s degree in computer science, or a relevant field, or an equivalent combination of education, work, and/or military experience

Experience that would be great to have:

Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detailStrong communication and interpersonal skillsRelevant certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM, CEH) are a plusKnowledge of quantum cryptography and post-quantum cryptographic algorithmsFamiliarity with secure software development practices

How you’ll work:

Fiserv emphasizes in-person collaboration to help you grow your career while shaping the future of fintech, this role is on-site Monday through FridayThis role may require flexibility to work overtime that includes weekends and holidaysThis role requires use of a computer and audio equipment

Travel:

Approximately 15% travel off-site or to other office locations is expected
