Position Summary:

The Director of Corporate Systems is responsible for overseeing the technology stack supporting the company’s Finance and Accounting systems (e.g., Oracle), Payroll and T&E platforms, HR systems (e.g., Workday), as well as Real Estate and Legal software. This role sets the strategic vision for these areas and partners closely with stakeholders to develop and execute the technology roadmap.

This leader will gain a deep understanding of business challenges and opportunities, identifying how technology can effectively address them through scalable and innovative solutions. As a key member of the organization, the Director serves as a technical expert and champion for Finance and HR systems, driving strategic direction, defining requirements, and leading the implementation of new features, functionality, and continuous enhancements.

The role requires the ability to effectively manage priorities and capacity in alignment with business needs and stakeholder expectations. It also demands the ability to cultivate a high-energy, positive, and results-oriented team culture with a strong focus on delivery. This is a highly visible role that collaborates across all levels of the Restaurant Support Center and with external vendors to bring forward impactful products, features, and service

II. 

Essential Functions:

Provides guidance, support, career development and mentoring to a mid-size TeamThis role develops a comprehensive understanding of the issues and opportunities facing the business and determines how information technology can address them and provide a solution.Define, deliver and have technical oversight for Corporate Systems products and solutions within this vertical. These include but not limited to:  WorkdayOracle – Fusion Anaplan CoStar Learning Management Systems Lease Accounting/Administration application Content Management systems

Champion and drive large strategic and complex projects, with executive visibility and many critical dependencies Continuously prioritizing a portfolio of programs and projects to drive strategy.Pragmatically build a roadmap to delight our Stakeholders and end users. Help them achieve more using our technical capabilities. Works closely with business leaders to create, prioritize, and maintain technology roadmap matching the business vision to technology’s visionDrive and execute the Roadmap. Will be responsible for prioritizing what we build in order to achieve the strategic goals and initiatives of the company.Identify opportunities to eliminate friction and solve end-user problems.Foster strategic vendor partnerships to drive value, ensure service excellence and align with organizational goals Develop project plans and timelines that cover development, testing and deployment of new productsServes as an technology liaison with third-party vendors and internal departments, including information technology, finance, and HRWorking across other technology verticals to ensure alignment on architectural decisions (e.g., infrastructure, data, restaurant technology, security) Apply technical strategy for current/future technological developments and serve as point of contact for technical guidance to the business and vendors.Staying up to date on emerging technologies; providing direction on which new technologies should be assimilated, integrated, and introducedYou will discuss technical implementation details with Product Managers and Engineers and make trade-offs to strike a balance between meeting the customer/end user needs and hitting deadlines and company goals.Evangelizes product vision to Senior Leadership and diverse Stakeholders through deep systems knowledge, customer research, hands-on data analysis, and industry expertise.

Other Functions:

Financial AcumenShares responsibility with VP for budget management (developing and controlling annual budget/cost center) which directly impacts Restaurant Technology. Qualifications:

Information Technology; 10 years (preferred)In-depth knowledge of technologies that support HR, Training, Finance/Accounting, Legal, Restaurant Development/Construction, and Payroll.Familiarity with HR technology specific to Workday and Oracle is highly preferredThe role requires both broad and deep technology knowledge and the ability to provide solutions to a customer’s technical business problem.Strong technical acumen; ability to think creatively and strategically to capitalize on unstructured, ambiguous business situations. Willingness and zeal to work in a “hands-on” manner with complex technical challenges. Must be able to see the big picture but deliver on detailsBe of unquestionable integrity, ethical and moral characterMust have technical prowess and can navigate code so that you can best understand the technical limitations of a productUse data to make decisions. Have a scrappy, quick method for collecting data and make decisions with imperfect information.Advanced relationship management and leadership skills and comfort level communicating with top tier leadership.Demonstrated ability to articulate a vision and generate necessary consensus behind business plans; and is results driven and comfortable in driving change in a matrix organizationProven success in building a business strategy and presenting innovate solutions to executives and colleagues.Extensive experience leading and managing cross-functional teams; exceptional project management skills.Experience developing customer-centric product strategy and aligning that with long-term company growth objectives. Compensation Range: $143,000.00 - $196,625.00
