Director of Contracting, Credentialing and Network Development
**Job Summary** The Dir of Business Operations is responsible for establishing and maintaining effective systems support for the service line and responsible for performing retrospective and concurrent quality and financial performance improvement assessments/reviews. This includes designing procedures and methodologies for performance evaluation, revenue reporting and supply cost analysis, as well as providing strategies for efficient delivery of high quality patient care. Provides overall direction and leadership to support staff related to department goals and objectives. **Essential Functions** + Provides high quality service to customers and patients. + Completes daily charge review and works with physicians on missing documentation. + Serves as a resource to providers regarding coding and documentation. Works off of unbilled cue related to procedural areas. + Works collaboratively with finance and support service departments to ensure integration of data when submitting and retrieving reports for existing and/or proposed programs. + Designs and implements data collection tools, along with cost savings initiatives within the department. + Responsible for monitoring all fixed and variable business expenses, including analyzing revenue sources and expenditures. + Makes recommendations on future allocations of expenses and anticipates future business needs. + Performs other duties as assigned. + Complies with all policies and standards. **Qualifications** + Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Finance, IT or related field required + 5-7 years fiscal management or related experience required + 1-2 years health care experience preferred + 3-6 years Operations management experience preferred **Knowledge, Skills and Abilities** + Working knowledge of the principles and practices of cost accounting and financial analytics + Computer knowledge and ability to use a variety of different software programs to retrieve and enter data + Strong project management, organizational and time management skills + Knowledge of management theory and practice with the ability to lead staff in area of responsibility + Understanding of budgets, financial reporting and general fiscal management Equal Employment Opportunity This organization does not discriminate in any way to deprive any person of employment opportunities or otherwise adversely affect the status of any employee because of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, genetic information, gender identity, national origin, age, disability, citizenship, veteran status, or military or uniformed services, in accordance with all applicable governmental laws and regulations.
