From overseeing Medical Staff Services, Graduate Medical Education (GME), and Continuing Medical Education (CME), to building strong partnerships with faculty and clinical teams, your leadership will help shape the next generation of healthcare.What You'll DoAs the CFM Administrative Director, you will:Lead and mentor a high-performing administrative team, guiding daily operations across Medical Staff Services, GME, and CME.Drive strategic planning, operational excellence, and process improvement in alignment with University Health’s mission and vision.Serve as a critical liaison among academic, clinical, and operational stakeholders including clinic leadership, faculty, and hospital executives.Ensure ongoing compliance with TJC, NCQA, CMS, Missouri State regulations, ACGME, and LCME standards.Coordinate credentialing, privileging, policy development, budget oversight, and contract administration.Partner with residency and fellowship program leaders to support the full spectrum of GME programming.Influence faculty development and staffing strategies, working closely with the Department Chair on faculty productivity, evaluations, and hiring.Advance CME initiatives and foster an environment of continuous professional learning.Minimum Requirements:We’re looking for someone who brings:A graduate degree in Public or Business AdministrationAt least 4 years of healthcare administrative experience, ideally in an academic department3–5 years of experience managing staff or leading interdisciplinary teamsExceptional communication, relationship-building, and leadership skillsA proven ability to synthesize complex information and act decisively with professionalism and insightA deep commitment to institutional collaboration and strategic alignment with partners like UMKC School of Medicine and University Health PhysiciansActive participation or willingness to engage in Association of Departments of Family Medicine (ADFM) activities, including annual meetingsCurrent involvement or active membership in the Society for Teachers of Family Medicine (STFM)Preferred QualificationTAGME Certification (Training Administrators of Graduate Medical Education)
