Job Description
Seeking a seasoned technical leader to lead and grow multi region, global emulation cloud systems. This role is responsible for defining the operational structure, establishing best practices, and delivering technical solutions in a complex, global infrastructure environment

 

Key Responsibilities:

Define and continuously improve operating structures, processes, and procedures for cloud and infrastructure servicesEstablish and enforce infrastructure best practices, while staying up to date on industry trends and advancementsServe as a subject matter expert for infrastructure initiatives, particularly in High Performance Computing (HPC) environmentsDrive operational excellence byAchieving highest standards of reliability in Cadence’s cloud and hosting services exceeding industry standardsManaging operations with focus on cost-effectiveness and efficiencyMeeting and exceeding Service Legal Agreements (SLAs) for customer issue resolutionIdentify and drive key metrics to measure reliability and efficiencyDevelop processes to track and scale key metrics for reliability, efficiency and scalabilityCreate and optimize processes to improve the effectiveness of operations at scaleManage communication of progress and status with customers, vendors, and internal stakeholdersPartner with executive leadership to identify and prioritize infrastructure technologies that support business growth and innovation

 

Requirements

BS with a minimum of 12 years of experience OR MS with a minimum of 10 years of experience OR PhD with a minimum of 8 years of experienceProven experience in technical systems (HPC, networking, storage)Demonstrated ability to operate and manage large-scale, enterprise-grade environmentsStrong leadership skills with experience managing teams and cross-functional programsExcellent communication skills, both written and verbal.Knowledge of operations processes such as Incident, Change, and Alert Management.Familiarity with cloud & cloud security practices and risk mitigation strategies.Proficiency in leveraging analytics to forecast performance and optimize operations.Experience with mission-critical services and applications in enterprise environments

Nice to Have

Experience in EDA and emulationExpertise in cloud security protocols (SOC2, ISO, etc.)

The annual salary range for California is $178,500 to $331,500. You may also be eligible to receive incentive compensation: bonus, equity, and benefits. Sales positions generally offer a competitive On Target Earnings (OTE) incentive compensation structure. Please note that the salary range is a guideline and compensation may vary based on factors such as qualifications, skill level, competencies and work location.
