The Director of Cardiovascular Services will have 24/7 accountability and responsibility assisting with planning, directing, coordinating and evaluating the delivery of care for safety, effectiveness and cost containment for Cardiovascular Interventional Services, Cardiac Cath Lab, Electrophysiology Lab, Angiography Lab, INR Program, CPU, CVOR, CVOR Holding, and any other Cardiovascular procedural programs that report to the Executive Director of Cardiovascular, Neuroscience and Cardiopulmonary Services. This position has direct responsibility for supervision of the Manager of CVOR and associated Leadership Team of the CVOR, as well as the Manager and associated Leadership team of the Cath Lab, INR Program, Cardiopulmonary ICU (CPU), and the CV PAT and Scheduling Dept. This position indirectly: advises/manages service areas that impact patient care for the Cardiovascular patient population. The Director will evaluate patient care, operational efficiencies, performance methods and employee issues, and make recommendations for improvement. Participates in outstanding customer service and accepts responsibility in maintaining relationships that are equally respectful to all.
