Position Summary: The Director of Cardiac Rehabilitation is responsible for the strategic leadership, clinical oversight, and daily management of the hospital's cardiac rehabilitation program. This role ensures high-quality patient care, regulatory compliance, staff development, and program growth. The Director will work closely with physicians, nursing staff, exercise physiologists, and other healthcare professionals to provide evidence-based services that support cardiac recovery and long-term heart health.
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Nursing, Exercise Physiology, or related health field required.
Master’s Degree in Healthcare Administration, Nursing, or related field preferred.
Licensure/Certifications:
RN License or certification as an Exercise Physiologist (ACSM or equivalent), depending on background.
Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) required.
Certification through AACVPR preferred.
Experience:
Minimum of 5 years of experience in cardiac rehabilitation or cardiovascular care.
At least 2 years in a leadership or supervisory role.
Familiarity with CMS guidelines, cardiac rehab billing, and patient monitoring systems.
Skills Requirements:

Proficient in data analysis, EMR systems, and patient outcome tracking.
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced clinical environment.
