The Director of Business Development - Marine Corps will provide significant input and direction for key strategic questions for Oshkosh Defense. Serving as a strategic thought leader, leading critical strategic projects, and influencing leaders around the company. This role has meaningful impact on Oshkosh Defense’s future performance.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor’s degree in Business Development or a related field.Ten (10) or more years of related direct experience OR Seven (7) or more years of related consulting experience.Five (5) or more years of management experience.Ability to travel up to 25% of the time.STANDOUT QUALIFICATIONS
Military experience in Marine Corps or Defense AcquisitionsMilitary tour at Quantico in an acquisition-related billetExperience with Marien Corps tactical wheeled vehicle (TWV) programs and the equipment associated with those TWVsKnowledge of and familiarity with the Marine Corps acquisition communityAcquisition MOS with time in a billet at MARCORSYSCOM, PEO(LS), CD&I, or MCWLMaster’s degree in the field or in a related area; MBA preferred.Fifteen (15) or more years of experience.Through understanding of EABO and the Marine Corps Force Design 2030 restructuring.Experience with complexity reduction concepts.Thought leadership, change management, and project management experience.Ability to influence change and build relationships with other business leaders.Ability to conduct executive level presentations and facilitate group discussions to tackle complex problems.Ability to work effectively with all levels of the organization and to impact others to move toward consensus.The following represents general working conditions for this office-based role. Duties are largely sedentary, requiring extended periods of sitting and using a computer and telephone.
Visual acuity to operate a computer and read documents is required, along with auditory ability to participate in virtual and in-person meetings.
Occasional movement within the office environment is necessary, including walking short distances, standing, or reaching for files.

Pay Range:
$132,500.00 - $233,100.00The above pay range reflects the minimum and maximum target pay for the position across all U.S. locations. Within this range, individual pay is determined by various factors, including the scope and responsibilities of the role, the candidate's experience, education and skills, as well as the equity of pay among team members in similar positions.
