Director of Business Development Acute & Post Acute

We are seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Business Development Director to drive the expansion of our clinical service offerings across hospitals and post-acute care facilities. This role is critical to identifying, pursuing, and securing new partnerships with hospitals and nursing homes where Adfinitas can place high-performing providers to deliver care.

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Planning & Marketing:

Develop and execute a comprehensive business development strategy targeting hospital systems and nursing home networks. Create and manage a robust marketing plan to support lead generation and brand awareness. Design, develop, and update marketing materials (presentations, pitch decks, case studies, digital assets). Create and execute outreach plans to expand Adfinitas’ presence in the region. Collaborate with internal teams (clinical operations, provider recruiting, finance) to tailor solutions for prospective clients.

Client Acquisition & Outreach:

Identify and qualify new business opportunities in hospitalist programs and post-acute facilities. Conduct outreach to hospital executives, nursing home administrators, and health system decision-makers. Schedule and lead discovery and pitch meetings with prospective clients. Articulate Adfinitas' value proposition clearly and confidently in all communications.

Partnership Development & Closing:

Build long-term relationships with key stakeholders in healthcare institutions. Lead RFP responses, proposal development, and contract negotiations with support from the leadership team. Work closely with legal, recruitment, clinical, and finance departments to ensure alignment of contracts with operational capabilities.

Market Intelligence & Reporting:

Track industry trends, competitor activity, and policy changes affecting hospitalist and post-acute care markets. Maintain a CRM database of leads, contacts, and opportunities. Regularly report pipeline status, activity metrics, and revenue projections to leadership. Attend network events and join local associations.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, Health Administration, or related field (Master’s preferred). 5+ years of experience in healthcare business development or B2B sales, ideally in physician staffing or health services. Strong understanding of hospital operations, hospitalist models, and post-acute care dynamics. Exceptional interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills. Demonstrated success in meeting or exceeding sales goals. Proficiency with CRM systems and Microsoft Office Suite. Willingness to travel to client sites and conferences as needed. Must be physically located in either MD, PA, VA, DC or DE and be open to travelling to each of these areas
