Job Description
The Director of Business Development is responsible for driving strategic growth and expanding partnerships within the clinical research sector. This role focuses on identifying new business opportunities, cultivating relationships with pharmaceutical companies and CROs, and positioning the organization as a leader in clinical trials and research services.
ResponsibilitiesIdentify and pursue new business opportunities through market research and strategic outreach.Build and maintain partnerships with pharmaceutical sponsors, CROs, and healthcare institutions.Lead the development and execution of business development plans and proposals.Represent the organization at industry events and conferences to promote services and expand visibility.Collaborate with internal teams (operations, finance, marketing) to align business strategies and ensure client satisfaction.Monitor industry trends and competitor activity to inform strategic decisions.Essential SkillsProven experience in business development within clinical research or healthcare.Strong network in the pharmaceutical and CRO sectors.Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership skills.Additional Skills & QualificationsBachelor’s degree in life sciences, business, or a related field (advanced degree preferred).Work Environment
This position is based in an office setting, providing a professional environment conducive to strategic planning and collaboration.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $150000.00 - $200000.00/yr.
