**Job Description:**
The Director of Admissions & New Student Relations provides supervision, leadership, innovation, and data-informed direction for all functions related to college Admissions recruitment, prospect management, market research, campus recruitment-related events and outreach, application processing and the Call Center. This position is an advocate for internal continuous quality improvement and supporting external collaborative partnerships and relationships.
This position is responsible for developing and implementing measurable enrollment goals with operational efficiency. Together with internal stakeholders, guide the development of the college strategic enrollment management plan and achievement of college goals related to recruitment, admissions, and enrollment. In addition, this position works collaboratively with all other student service departments, Marketing, Academic Affairs, and the administration to ensure seamless delivery of high impact services and to expand access to higher education while cultivating external partnerships.
The Director of Admission & New Student Relations position involves significant discretion and substantial involvement in the development, interpretation, and implementation of college policies and procedures that related to students in accordance with campus, MnSCU, state, and federal policies.
**Salary Range:**
33.61 - 48.66 USD Hourly
**Minimum Qualifications**
+ Bachelor’s Degree
+ Three (3) or more years professional Higher Ed experience including two (2) or more years of supervisory experience.
+ Ability to research, interpret, recommend, and promote effective policies and procedures.
+ Knowledge of and compliance with federal and state data privacy laws.
+ Ability to develop short and long-range enrollment and recruitment plans aligned with divisional and college strategic plans.
+ Extensive senior-level experience in designing, executing, and assessing effective strategies for admissions, outreach, communication, and enrollment management, with a strong focus on supporting diverse student populations.
+ The ability to communicate effectively to build and maintain positive relationships and partnerships between college personnel and external stakeholders.
+ Experience in developing and managing budgets
**Preferred Qualification**
+ Master’s Degree.
+ Five (5) years professional related experience.
+ Demonstrated expertise in strategic enrollment planning and a deep understanding of best practices in student development and support frameworks.
+ Comprehensive computer software skills including (but not limited to): ISRS, Workday, Microsoft Office Suites, document imaging, SharePoint systems or comparable software programs.
+ Knowledge of continuous quality improvement methods.
+ Bilingual/multilingual fluent in Spanish, Karen, Karenni, Somali, Pohnpeian, French, Nuer, Anuak, or other languages that reflect our student body, workforce, and communities.
+ Demonstrated work experience with a multicultural and underserved populations.
