The Director National Accounts, ESI/Ascent Lead, reporting to the Vice President Value & Access Payer Accounts, is responsible for effectively positioning Teva’s Branded and Biosimilar Portfolio at select National Accounts. The Director will be responsible for developing long-term, strategic relationships with key account stakeholders and implementing brand messages & tactics to secure favorable access as outlined within each brand’s strategic plan. The target audience includes a range of influential stakeholders and decision-makers, such as national Payers, pharmacy benefit managers (PBMs) and other key customers, as defined by the role. Core account responsibilities include securing formulary consideration and placement for Teva products, fostering collaboration with downstream account teams, and developing long term, mutually beneficial partnerships with customers through strategic solutions. The Director is responsible for the communication, negotiation, and execution of appropriate contract terms & conditions with the account in support of brand strategy.

Drive Optimal Strategic Access for Teva Products:
Work Cross Functionally with Downstream Account Teams and Relevant Stakeholders:
Internally, this position has the responsibility of engaging and coordinating with all appropriate Teva functions in driving access and developing solutions for the targeted customer. Key collaboration partners include the entire Value & Access & Government Affairs Team, Pricing, Contracting, Operations and Reimbursement, VEO, Marketing, Commercial Sales, and Legal & Compliance. This role is responsible for cultivating and sustaining strong relationships with key account personnel, including C-suite executives and department leadership. Additionally, this role maintains strategic partnerships with external associations, organizations, and patient support partners. Independently represents the National Accounts Team in all engagements with aligned regional accounts, driving bottom-up influence to support formulary decisions Proactively build and nurture relationships across regional offices and affiliated entities Provides strategic direction and operational guidance to the regional accounts team and other relevant departments within Teva to support effective contracting and pull-through execution Leadership of cross-functional Value & Access teams in order to ensure the strategy is executed within brand & financial guidelines. Provide regular updates on account access positions, financial impacts, and performance to Teva leadership and key stakeholders. Responsible for gaining alignment & approval across Market Access Leadership, Pricing & Contracting, and Brand & Payer Marketing. Identify key stakeholders including decision making and influencing network Develop / maintain relationships with key decision-making roles and leadership

Demonstrates a comprehensive understanding of targeted disease states and their broader impact on patients, healthcare providers, institutions, payers, and accounts. Effectively articulates the role of therapies within the treatment continuum, including appropriate utilization and alignment with clinical guidelines Proactively leverages in depth knowledge of Teva’s portfolio and relevant competitor offerings to strategically position and differentiate Teva products in alignment with customer and patient needs Effectively communicates relevant clinical data to internal stakeholder, influencers and customer decision makers ensuring clarity, accuracy, and strategic alignment.
Creates and Implements strategic Business Plans:
Leverages deep understanding of Market Access objectives and customer insights to develop a comprehensive multi-year business plan. This, includes contracting and engagement strategies aimed at achieving defined goals. Continually evaluates contract performance while demonstrating a strong understanding of pricing dynamics and downstream implications of evolving public policy, government regulations and broader industry trends Monitors and evaluates account(s), key markets/clients, and business plan performance based on established qualitative and quantitative measurements Your experience and qualificationsAny equivalent combination of education, training and/or experience that fulfills the requirements of the position will be considered.
Education/Certification/Experience:
Bachelor’s Degree required, Advanced business or pharmacy degree preferred Minimum of 10 years in pharmaceutical industry with a significant portion of time in customer-facing roles with proven success. Value & Access/Market Access experience with supported understanding of healthcare delivery system including various payer types and economic driversAccount Management, Sales Management, and/or Payer Marketing experience People leadership preferred

Compensation DataThe annual starting salary for this position is between $184,240-$241,815 annually. Factors which may affect starting salary within this range and level of role may include geography/market, skills, education, experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
