This position will report to the Sr. Director, General Manager of Multi-domain Assured Navigation & Timing Applications (MANTA) within the Resilient Navigation Solutions sub-strategic business unit of Mission Systems. You will be responsible for the Mission Aligned Global Positioning System (GPS) Solutions (MAGS) portfolio, a combination of two existing businesses: Increment 1 Lead Platforms and Weapons Navigation. The MAGS business AOP is $100M in FY25 and will grow to $200M through FY29.
The Mission Aligned GPS Systems (MAGS) portfolio is a strategically critical line of business supporting the U.S. military’s modernization of Positioning, Navigation, and Timing (PNT) capabilities. This portfolio spans 14 external customers across the U.S. Space Force, Air Force, and Navy, delivering both developmental and production-phase GPS user equipment to domestic and allied forces.
What You Will Do
Lead high visibility programs reviewed at the Secretary of the Air Force level, directly supporting organizational goals in defense modernization. Ensure cost, schedule, and performance alignment across more than 12 customer programs, including those for U.S. Space Force, Navy, and Air Force, in both international and domestic markets. Partner with executive leaders of Raytheon franchise businesses in avionics and weapons to enable integrated GPS capability in future product architectures. Establishment and scale of production lines tracked by Assistant Secretaries of the Army and Navy, addressing urgent national defense needs and contributing to long term growth objectives. Manage, analyze, and report within two distinct corporate financial systems (Raytheon and Collins), ensuring transparency and accountability in financial planning and analysis. Represent the organization with credibility in regular engagements at the Pentagon and across DoD acquisition communities, reinforcing the company’s position as a trusted provider of critical PNT technologies. Directly manage and develop a team of 8+ program managers and associate directorsTravel up to 25%Qualifications You Must Have
8 years minimum program management experienceExperience managing cost, schedule, and technical performance for programs with use of program management tools such as Earned Value Management System (EVMS), Integrated Master Plan (IMP), Integrated Master Schedule (IMS), Risk and Opportunity Management, Scope Board, or similar business processesExperience interfacing directly with senior leaders in the US Government and in the customer community.Experience leading proposal activitiesTypically requires a University Degree and minimum 14 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 12 years of experienceQualifications We Prefer
Experience with the PNT products and customersExperience managing international contracts and business developmentPrevious experience supporting programs in a classified environment, with demonstrated knowledge of security practices and processesExcellent presentation and communication skills to senior executives, international and DoD customer basesExperience mentoring up-and-coming program managers.What We Offer

The salary range for this role is 194,000 USD - 388,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
