**Employment Type:** Full time **Shift:** Day Shift **Description:** **Job Title: Director of Medical Staff Services** **Schedule:** Full Time **Department:** Medical Affairs **Position Description** Holy Cross Health is seeking an experienced and dynamic **Director of Medical Staff Services** to lead, coordinate, and enhance relationships between our health system and the medical staff at both **Holy Cross Hospital** and **Holy Cross Germantown Hospital** . In this key leadership role, you will serve as a liaison to physicians and educational partners, promoting optimal utilization of services and ensuring efficient, mission-aligned operations across Medical Staff Services and Medical Education. **What You Will Do** + Serve as a strategic partner to physicians, promoting effective communication, issue resolution, and service alignment + Oversee and direct the Medical Staff Services Department, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and organizational policies + Manage departmental budgets, including Medical & Dental funds, and lead efforts to optimize resources and operational efficiency + Lead and coordinate continuing medical education (CME) programs in line with Trinity Health accreditation standards + Act as liaison to medical schools, residency programs, and educational affiliates, and manage site visit planning and participation + Provide input on and support policy development for Medical Staff Services and Medical Education + Maintain up-to-date knowledge of federal, state, and local regulations related to hospital operations and medical staff compliance + Support and model Holy Cross Health and Trinity Health’s mission, values, and commitment to organizational integrity **Minimum Qualifications** + Bachelor’s degree in Business or a related discipline required; Registered Nurse preferred + Master’s degree in Health Care Administration, Business, or a nursing-related field preferred + Five years of healthcare experience with substantial physician interaction + Minimum five years of managerial experience + Knowledge of hospital and physician practice operations, healthcare trends, and TJC (The Joint Commission) requirements + CMSC certification (by the National Association of Medical Staff Services) preferred + Excellent verbal, written, interpersonal, and analytical skills **Position Highlights** + Serve in a key leadership role that directly impacts physician relations, medical staff performance, and education strategy. + Collaborate with senior leaders, medical staff officers, and education partners to improve care delivery and professional development. + Be a resource and point of contact for all physician inquiries across Holy Cross Health. + Lead initiatives that align with the mission and strategic goals of Trinity Health and Holy Cross Health. + Join a values-driven organization committed to excellence, compassion, and community-focused care. **Benefits** + Comprehensive benefit packages available, including medical, dental, vision, mental health, paid time off, 403B, education assistance and voluntary benefits (pet insurance, accident insurance, hospital indemnity and others) available from first day of employment. + Retention Bonus eligible (must have 1 year of prior experience in this unit) + Work/Life balance with flexible schedules. + Free onsite parking. + Our mission and core values are what drives each member of Holy Cross Health to support each other, communicate openly and respectfully while embracing a culture that nurtures a healing, safe environment for all. **Pay rate:** $52.32 - $78.48 Pay is based on experience, skills, and education. Exempt positions under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) will be paid within the base salary equivalent of the stated hourly rates.
