Position Description

Holy Cross Health is seeking an experienced and dynamic Director of Medical Staff Services to lead, coordinate, and enhance relationships between our health system and the medical staff at both Holy Cross Hospital and Holy Cross Germantown Hospital. In this key leadership role, you will serve as a liaison to physicians and educational partners, promoting optimal utilization of services and ensuring efficient, mission-aligned operations across Medical Staff Services and Medical Education.

What You Will Do

Serve as a strategic partner to physicians, promoting effective communication, issue resolution, and service alignmentOversee and direct the Medical Staff Services Department, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and organizational policiesManage departmental budgets, including Medical & Dental funds, and lead efforts to optimize resources and operational efficiencyLead and coordinate continuing medical education (CME) programs in line with Trinity Health accreditation standardsAct as liaison to medical schools, residency programs, and educational affiliates, and manage site visit planning and participationProvide input on and support policy development for Medical Staff Services and Medical EducationMaintain up-to-date knowledge of federal, state, and local regulations related to hospital operations and medical staff complianceSupport and model Holy Cross Health and Trinity Health’s mission, values, and commitment to organizational integrity

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Business or a related discipline required; Registered Nurse preferredMaster’s degree in Health Care Administration, Business, or a nursing-related field preferredFive years of healthcare experience with substantial physician interactionMinimum five years of managerial experienceKnowledge of hospital and physician practice operations, healthcare trends, and TJC (The Joint Commission) requirementsCMSC certification (by the National Association of Medical Staff Services) preferredExcellent verbal, written, interpersonal, and analytical skills

Pay rate: $52.32 - $78.48

Pay is based on experience, skills, and education. Exempt positions under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) will be paid within the base salary equivalent of the stated hourly rates. The pay range may also vary within the stated range based on location.
