Director Marketing Operations
Job Overview As a senior leader within Fairview's Marketing organization, the Director of Marketing Operations is responsible for setting the vision and leading the execution of an integrated marketing operations strategy that enables scalable growth, cross-functional alignment, and high-performing creative delivery across the enterprise. Responsibilities Develop and lead the long-term marketing operations strategy in alignment with organizational goals, marketing transformation priorities, and enterprise growth initiatives. Partner with the Chief Marketing Officer and senior leaders to translate strategic objectives into actionable operational plans, systems, and KPIs. Drive cross-functional planning processes to align intake, prioritization, and capacity planning with key business initiatives. Lead the design, implementation, and continuous improvement of scalable creative and production workflows, ensuring operational efficiency and accountability across internal teams and external vendors. Establish and monitor performance metrics, dashboards, and reporting systems to assess effectiveness, surface insights, and inform strategic decision-making. Own the marketing tech stack strategy—evaluating, implementing, and optimizing tools that support campaign management, content operations, digital asset management, and automation. Partner with IT and business intelligence teams to ensure seamless integration of systems, tools, and data flow across platforms. Oversee enterprise-wide resource allocation, including internal team assignments and vendor utilization, to optimize capacity and balance workload. Manage multimillion-dollar budgets, ensuring fiscal accountability and investment alignment with departmental goals. Serve as a connector and operational strategist across marketing, communications, digital, clinical, and administrative teams to ensure cohesive and consistent execution of brand initiatives. Represent Marketing Operations on enterprise-level steering committees, special projects, and governance bodies. Lead and inspire a team of marketing operations professionals, including specialists in brand activation, intake and asset management, and content production. Foster a culture of trust, accountability, and continuous learning, developing talent and encouraging innovation at all levels. Conduct regular coaching, performance evaluations, and development planning to build a high-performing, engaged team. Drive operational culture within the Marketing organization—championing collaboration, agility, and excellence in service delivery. Required Qualifications B.S./B.A. in Marketing, Communications, Business, or related field 12 years of progressive experience in marketing operations, creative operations, or project/program management within a large, matrixed organization or agency. Proven success in a director-level role leading enterprise-wide marketing operations strategy, team leadership, and complex resource planning. Deep understanding of creative development workflows, campaign execution processes, and integrated marketing delivery across multiple channels. Strong experience managing cross-functional teams, budgets, and vendor relationships. Demonstrated ability to influence senior executives and collaborate across diverse stakeholder groups. Expertise in marketing technology platforms such as Adobe Workfront, DAMs, CRM tools, and marketing automation systems. Highly skilled in performance measurement, data visualization, and strategic reporting. The actual rate of pay offered within this range may depend on several factors, such as FTE, skills, knowledge, relevant education, experience, and market conditions.
