**Shift** : Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm (Hybrid)

**The role you'll contribute:** As a member of the AdventHealth Learning, Leadership, and Talent Development team, the Director of Leadership Development creates the department's strategy in partnership with the Executive Director of Learning, Leadership & Talent Development, senior AdventHealth leadership, Human Resources, and the Leadership Institute. The Director leads a team focused on developing, executing, and managing leadership development strategies across AdventHealth's Central Florida Division. These initiatives include the development of leadership curricula for leaders at the emerging, operational, and strategic level. The Director leads the team in the creation of operational business partnerships at the campus and system levels and holds the team accountable for building and developing skills, knowledge and competencies for leaders and team members to increase organizational effectiveness and employee engagement. In this role, the Director is accountable for staff hiring, development, and performance management, and for delivering on the budget requirements and key strategy deliverables to the Executive Director. Actively participates in outstanding customer service and accepts responsibility in maintaining relationships that are equally respectful to all.

+ Leads a matrix team focused on developing, executing, and managing a system-wide learning anddevelopment strategy, including leadership development and curricula for leaders at all levels across theenterprise.
+ Drives leadership development strategies that help achieve business goals and objectives applyingintegrative thinking and consultative support to the business. Provides coaching and mentoring toleaders as needed.
+ Works directly with Senior leaders on leadership development strategies. Partners with corporate leadership development, campuses, and system functions to ensure continuous improvement. Overseesteam to design and implement leadership development programming and create and track developmentplans.
+ Oversees team focused on developing instructional materials for leadership development programming;Keeps abreast of current trends and learning science, along with market information to ensurecompetitive and relevant design and delivery; Ensures team benchmarks practices at best-in-classcompanies and observes best practices where possible.
+ Develops strategy to assess training needs through surveys, interviews, focus groups, and consultationwith operational leaders or others to identify needs and to develop an aligned curriculum of system andcampus programs, on-line tools, and resources.
+ Maintains professional knowledge of innovative and current practices in the areas of learning science,leadership development, and technology through analysis of research and participation in professionaldevelopment.
**The expertise and experiences you'll need to succeed:**
**Minimum qualifications** :
+ Bachelor's degree and ten years of leadership experience OR
+ Master's degree and five years of leadership experience
+ Certified in at least one recognized assessment tool (i.e. Myers-Briggs TypeIndicator (MBTI), DiSC Behavioral Assessment, etc.); OR Certified in two or more leadership development programs, OR Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR), or Society for Human Resource Management Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP), or Certified Professional in Learning and Performance (CPLP) through the Association for Talent Development (ATD)
+ Ability to manage multiple tasks, work under pressure and meet deadlines as required
+ Adept at establishing partnerships and building relationships
+ Ability to think strategically and critically in developing practical solutions
+ Technical knowledge in implementing 70-20-10 development plans (70% assignment based,20% feedback-based, 10% training-based)
**Preferred qualifications:**
+ Two Leadership Certifications in known leadership development programssuch as DDI, Leadership Challenge, HPI, Psychological Associates, or other.
+ Certifications or academic/experience qualifications to interpret assessments Certification as a leadership coach Myers-Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI) certification highly preferred
