We are seeking an experienced Director IT – Customer Journey Technologies to drive the delivery and evolution of critical enterprise applications with a focus on digital marketing platforms, Salesforce CRM, customer service systems, and mobile applications. This role will oversee the end-to-end lifecycle of application development and deployment, ensuring alignment with business objectives in customer experience, sales, marketing, and mobile engagement. The ideal candidate will bring a strong technical foundation and leadership excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

Partner with business stakeholders to translate business requirements into technology solutions and deliverables.

Lead cross-functional teams (employees and contractors) to ensure seamless, scalable, and timely application delivery.

Leverage Agile/DevOps-based models to optimize applications delivery and management.

Collaborate with enterprise architects to ensure alignment with broader IT architecture and digital experience goals.

Manage vendor relationships, contracts, and performance related to applications and platforms delivery and support.

Application Domains Oversight:

1. Digital Marketing: Oversee delivery of MarTech platforms and applications

2. Salesforce CRM: Lead the design, customization, and integration of Salesforce platform; champion CRM best practices and data integrity.

3. Customer Service: Manage applications supporting customer service operations, accounts payable and collections business functions. Operate in matrixed technology environment leveraging diverse technologies such as Five9, HighRadius, Esker, GHX, ServiceNow and Oracle ERP.  Drive improvement of the front-line agents’ productivity and experience by implementing technologies aimed at optimizing business operations.

4. Mobile Applications: Direct development and maintenance of customer-facing and internal mobile applications, ensuring responsive design, performance, and scalability.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.

10+ years of IT experience, with 5+ years in application delivery leadership roles.

Strong knowledge of Agile, DevOps, CI/CD methodologies, API integration, cloud-native applications, and application security frameworks.

Demonstrated experience creating and leading high-performing, matrixed global teams consisting of employees and contractors.

Ability to engage with business stakeholders to gather and translate business strategies and requirements into effective technology solutions.

Demonstrated ability to apply and operate architecture and security standards within application development lifecycle.

Experience managing multiple suppliers’ and vendors’ performance in line with contractual obligations.

Demonstrated technical and functional experience in the following areas:

Leading Salesforce platform and application development, delivering across functional modules such as Sales, Service and Marketing Cloud.

Implementing and integrating MarTech platforms, customer engagement tools and agent productivity solutions.

Delivering and managing mobile applications, using responsive design principles.

Building scalable, customer-centric digital experiences.

Additional details:

This role is hybrid between Princeton, NJ and remote. Office days are Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday
