This position is responsible for defining, leading, and optimizing all inventory control operations, strategies, and initiatives. Provide outstanding customer service to guests and all other employees by exceeding our mission statement. Continually coach and support Team Members to ensure they have the skills, tools and resources to successfully complete their jobs, including the delivering of the Five Star Experience expectations. Accountable for the overall strategic direction, performance, and talent development of the entire inventory control unit. Ensure that customer service standards are embedded within inventory processes and that the team is equipped to deliver them. Develop and implement comprehensive training and development programs for the inventory team, across multiple operational areas. Strategically direct warehouse inventory and supply chain management processes. Develop and implement company guidelines to enhance inventory management systems to optimize inventory flow and accuracy. Manage and safeguard organizational fixed assets to ensure accurate financial reporting and operational control. Responsibilities include asset identification, tagging, tracking, inventory verification, disposal, retirement, compliance and audit support. Establish policies and advanced methodologies for critical inventory tasks, implementing systems to ensure accuracy and optimal stock levels. Develop and enforce robust policies and procedures for inventory record-keeping, leveraging technology for enhanced accuracy and real-time data. Implement advanced analytical methods and technologies to identify and resolve systemic discrepancies, focusing on root cause analysis and preventative measures. Establish company-wide standards and systems for inventory organization and rotation, potentially across various locations or departments. Lead the strategic analysis of sales forecasts and demand planning to optimize procurement strategies and inventory levels. This involves cross-functional collaboration. Collaborate with operations and production leadership to integrate inventory strategies with overall fulfillment goals, identifying and mitigating potential bottlenecks. Provide comprehensive financial analysis and strategic insights from inventory data to executive leadership, informing critical business decisions. Proactively establish and maintain cross-functional relationships with other Directors and executive leadership to ensure seamless inventory integration with overall business objectives. Collaborate with Directors and executive leadership to develop the annual inventory budget, providing detailed forecasts and justifications. Keep abreast of competitive changes including industry trends and local competitive set. Develop, maintain and nurture a positive work environment. Responsible for maintaining a disciplined environment and implement practices that promote safety, quality and productivity. Help coordinate and supervise training, assignments and development of subordinates. Ensure compliance with all Minimum Internal Control Standards (MICS) as well as all Tribal Internal Control Standards (TICS). Present a positive image of the Tribal organization to its guests and vendors and to assist them as required. Must follow all safety policies and procedures and attend all scheduled safety meetings and training as a condition of employment. Able to make difficult decision in a fair and honest manner. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Perform any other duties that may be assigned from time to time. Supervisory ResponsibilitiesManage directly and indirectly all employees on the Inventory Control team, which may include managing subordinate managers and supervisors. Adhere to the Tribal organization’s policies, procedures and applicable laws.
Responsible for the overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of this unit.
Carry out leadership and supervisory responsibilities which include but are not limited to: overseeing the recruitment and retention of top talent; guiding the professional development of managers and individual contributors; establishing performance metrics and conducting high-level appraisals; making strategic decisions regarding team structure and resource allocation; and resolving complex departmental challenges.
QualificationsEducation And Experience (Must Be Documented) Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration or a related field required; Master’s degree is preferred. Minimum of seven (7) years Supervisory/Management experience. Experience with RF Smart systems or tools. Demonstrated experience in leading, mentoring, and developing high-performing teams, including managing managers. Certification, Licenses And Any Additional Requirements Must pass periodic random drug screens. Must be able to pass background suitability investigation. Must obtain a Tribal Gaming License. Must obtain all other applicable certifications and licenses. Must provide proof of eligibility to work in the United States within 72 hours of employment. Multiple locations. Some enterprises are open 24 hours per day, 7 days per week; therefore, you must be flexible to work any and all hours. Must be available for emergency calls 24/7. Must be available to work weekend and holidays. Some enterprises are gaming facilities. Some enterprises are not a smoke-free environment. Surveillance cameras and audio equipment monitor the premises recording activity throughout most of the facilities on 24 hours per day, 7 days per week basis.
