Summary:
+ The Director, Integration and Physician Alignment at Chester County Hospital, is responsible for the local implementation of strategic initiatives, assessment of critical success factors for service line growth, and the development and monitoring of key business and market indicators. The Director will liaison with both employed and independent physician groups to ensure practices are working in alignment with the hospital's strategic priorities and clinical initiatives. The Director fosters strong relationships with physicians.The position is the hospital liaison employed and independent practices to assess practice performance, evaluate requests for recruitment, support recruitment and onboarding efforts, and monitor performance. They serve as a link to corporate marketing, strategy and business development to inform market efforts and execute them on the entity level. This includes investigating market intelligence and opportunities, developing business plans and facilitating the integration of growth objectives with the clinical and operational coordination of care delivery as well as community health functions.
Responsibilities:
+ Actively manages local strategic projects
+ Act as a key liaison with corporate strategy and business development
+ Work closely with Penn DNA’s Strategic Decision Support and Corporate Business Development to develop written plans that contain goals, objectives, relevant financial/clinical/market data, measures of success, and methods for evaluating performance to plans.
+ Generate, organize and translate data rich reports into relevant information which identifies actionable opportunities and priorities – must be able to tell the story behind the data.
+ Monitor demographic changes and competitor activity as it impacts Chester County’s strategy and market position
+ identify new business and growth opportunities that strengthen the organization’s financial profile and market position while balancing competing priorities and resources while also meeting the health care needs of the CCH service area.
+ Serve as a key liaison to the physician network, monitor physician supply and demand, and ensure appropriate geographic access to services.
+ Work with CCH Finance and Penn Corporate physician practice partners to forecast, plan and finalize volume projections in preparation of the Chester County Hospital annual budget.
+ Work with finance and operational leaders to support the preparation of financial models for growth opportunities and review service line profit and loss.
+ Translate organizational strategies and initiatives to the corporate marketing leadership to align the marketing strategy, media strategy, and communications plan.
+ Communicate the CCH-facing priorities for the physician liaisons supporting the region. Maintain an open two-way dialogue to share and learn market intel.
Credentials:
Education or Equivalent Experience:
+ Bachelor of Arts or Science (Required)
+ Health Care Administration or Related Field7+ years Experience in health care business development, new program planning, and physician recruitment.
+ Master of Arts or Science
