This role will be part of Fluor’s growing Mining & Metals Business Line. • Manage the end-to-end Contract Management process, from Pre-Award to Close-Out, aligning with the Project Execution Plan (PEP) and Project Procedures Manual (PPM). This includes handling claims and back charges. • Assist in preparing bid evaluation plans for large-scale engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) projects, as well as fabrication Request for Proposal (RFP) packages. Participate in both technical and commercial bid evaluations. • Assume ultimate responsibility for the quality of Project RFP packages and Contract documents. • Coordinate interfaces with various stakeholders, including Project Management, Construction, Project Controls, Quality, Safety, Finance, Clients, and Joint Venture Partners. • Collaborate with Project and Engineering Managers to prepare scope, schedule, and other technical documents for the RFP process. • Safeguard the Company’s interests by enforcing warranties, mitigating risks, and providing oversight to project contract management teams. • Head contract management activities for large-scale engineering, procurement, fabrication, and construction/construction management (EPFC/EPFCM) projects across multiple offices. • Execute Contract Management or Prime Contract Administration tasks for assigned projects, offices, or Business Lines. • Develop Contracting Strategies and Contracting Plans in collaboration with Project Management and Construction. • Shape the Contracts portion of the Project Execution Plan (PEP). • Create and maintain a Contract Management staffing plan aligned with project execution strategy and budget. • Operate as a Project Contract Manager on high-value projects (US$1 billion+ TIC or global equivalent), potentially assisting multiple Contract Administrators and Contract Managers during pre-award processes • May need to travel to attend to business related matters **Basic Job Requirements** • Accredited four (4) year degree or global equivalent in applicable field of study and eighteen (18) years of work-related experience or a combination of education and directly related experience equal to twenty-two (22) years if non-degreed; some locations may have additional or different qualifications in order to comply with local requirements • Experience in developing and negotiating contract terms and conditions, specifically for contracts, construction, modularization/fabrication, and professional services (Lump Sum, Unit Price, and cost reimbursable basis). **Other Job Requirements** • Ability to communicate effectively with audiences that include but are not limited to management, coworkers, clients, vendors, contractors, and other stakeholders • Job related technical knowledge necessary to complete the job • Ability to learn and apply knowledge of applicable local, state/province, and federal/national statutes and guidelines • Ability to attend to detail and work in a time-conscious and time-effective manner **Preferred Qualifications** • 10 years of field experience. • Proficiency in Pre-Award processes and contract package formation. • Strong understanding of contracting principles and legal terms. • Familiarity with the construction industry and contract language associated with EPFC/CM.
