About the Role

As the Director of Identity and Access Solutions, you will lead the strategy, development, and execution of solutions that enable insurance carriers to verify and authenticate consumers with confidence. You will be responsible for creating solutions that reduce fraud, streamline identity verification, and enhance consumer experience. This includes leveraging advanced analytics and behavioral insights to detect bad actors, improve quote accuracy, and build trust. The Director, Identity and Access Solutions will also be responsible for identifying new market opportunities, refining strategic direction based on competitive intelligence, and driving thought leadership through innovative messaging. This role will ensure product innovation aligns with evolving customer needs and delivers strong financial performance.

Responsibilities

Strategic Leadership: Define and drive the vision for Identity and Access Solutions, aligning with the vertical’s mission to lead, innovate, and deliver.

Product Ownership: Direct a portfolio of solutions including Instant ID, ThreatMetrix, Emailage, and ID Verse, ensuring alignment with market needs and business goals.

Market Engagement: Cultivate relationships with insurance carriers, cybersecurity teams, and activation partners to expand solution adoption.

Innovation & Execution: Integrate capabilities in identity verification and fraud detection to deliver seamless, secure consumer experiences.

Data-Driven Insights: Use analytics to optimize fraud detection, improve quote accuracy, and enhance conversion.

Team Leadership: Foster a culture of innovation, accountability, and continuous improvement, leading cross-functional teams through collaboration and influence.

Market Intelligence & Competitive Analysis: Continuously monitor market trends and competitor strategies to inform product and go-to-market decisions.

White Space Analysis: Identify and evaluate new market opportunities to expand the solution portfolio and drive growth.

Marketing Strategy & Messaging: Collaborate with marketing to develop compelling messaging and thought leadership content that positions the company as a market leader.

Financial Performance: Track and manage financial KPIs to ensure profitability and ROI across the solution portfolio.

Marketing Plan Execution: Partner with cross-functional teams to develop and execute integrated marketing plans that support product launches and market expansion.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

This role requires close collaboration with a diverse ecosystem of partners and stakeholders to ensure seamless execution and market success. You will work with:

Internal Teams including Analytics, Product Management, Client Engagement, Legal, Marketing, and Technology to ensure alignment, compliance, and execution across the solution lifecycle.

Insurance Carriers to align solutions with underwriting and quoting strategies.

Cybersecurity and Activation Partners to expand distribution and reach.

Other 3rd Party Data Vendors/Sources to enrich targeting and personalization capabilities.

Your ability to navigate and influence across this matrixed environment will be critical to delivering value and driving growth.

Requirements

15+ years of experience in identity verification, fraud detection, or access management within insurance or adjacent industries.

Deep understanding of the identity and fraud ecosystem: physical and digital identity, behavioral analytics, and cybersecurity.

Proven success managing large product portfolios and driving revenue growth.

Strong analytical skills and experience with behavioral targeting and fraud intelligence.

Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
