As the Territory HR Director, Supply Chain, you will oversee a team of HRBP and support multiple distribution and logistics centers. You’ll play a critical role in shaping employee experiences and advancing Best Buy’s mission to be the best place to work. As the Territory HR Director, you will partner closely with business leaders to drive enterprise culture, align HR strategies with operational goals, and support talent development. You’ll serve as a trusted advisor and strategic partner while influencing enterprise leadership, championing employee engagement, and ensuring consistent, people-first practices across the network.
What You'll Do
· Lead, coach, and develop a team of HR Business Partners across multiple sites throughout an assigned region, ensuring consistent execution of HR programs, performance management, and employee engagement strategies.
· Serve as a trusted advisor and coach to senior leaders, providing guidance on talent development, organizational design, and succession planning.
· Drive full-cycle performance management and strategic talent development efforts across the territory, identifying high-potential talent and building leadership pipelines.
· Partner with operations leaders to align people strategies with business priorities, translating goals into actionable HR initiatives.
· Use workforce analytics to identify trends, develop insights, and influence key business decisions.
· Mobilize quickly to address high-impact site needs, supporting change management, employee relations, or talent transitions with a strong on-the-ground presence.
· Continuously assess and evolve HRBP team capabilities to support long-term business growth and talent bench.
Basic Qualifications
· 5+ years of supervisory/management experience OR 5+ years of military leadership experience, including coaching, performance evaluation, and budget management.
· 5+ years of experience with performance management, benefits, and compensation programs.
· Willingness to travel 50%+, with the ability to activate quickly based on site needs.
Preferred Qualifications
· Bachelor’s degree or higher in Human Resources, Business, or a related field.
· 5+ years of experience leading HR strategies focused on employee engagement, retention, and leadership development.
· 5+ years of experience in employee relations, investigations, and compliance.
· Proven experience leading in multi-site or distributed team environments.
· HR certification (PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP, or SHRM-SCP).
· Experience working in supply chain, logistics, retail, or manufacturing environments.
· Strong executive communication skills and the ability to influence at the officer level.
