The Director of Housing Assets and Partnerships is responsible for overseeing the current investment portfolio of supportive housing units, setting strategic direction for future investments and ensuring quality partnerships with developers, local municipalities and other supportive housing funders. Alliance has invested over eight million dollars creating almost 100 set aside units which require compliance to grant agreements, desirable condition of property and creating efficiencies managing vacancies and referrals. This position will also oversee the subsidy administration related to TCL vouchers.
This position will allow the successful candidate to work hybrid schedule. They will be required to work onsite at the Alliance Office location closest to their home, one (1) day a week, as approved by their supervisor. The position will also require travel within the communities Alliance serves as needed.
Responsibilities & Duties
Identify and Direct Strategic Direction and Continual Improvements for Housing Investments
Develops and implements policies and workflows related to investment portfolio and subsidy administration Supports state and regional housing plans for the low barrier access to affordable permanent supportive housing units Coordinates with government, non-profit and community stakeholders Prepares and presents reports to senior leadership, state partners and stakeholders Acts as the liaison between developer, property management and Alliance to ensure quality property standards and tenant rights are being met Responsible for the creation of strategic direction for investments and diversified portfolio’s that reflect best practice needs for disabled populations Coordinate with the Community Living teams and other departments to ensure access to available units and resolve any tenant issues Coordinate with advocacy groups to inform strategic priorities Oversee the subsidy administration team related to TCL Vouchers Oversee Mainstream Voucher program and MOU’sTeam Management and Leadership

Ensures compliance with all housing regulations and funding agreements Ensures any Pro-formas and other requests for housing investments are fair and comply with fair market rates and construction costs Ensures compliance with contractual requirements related to subsidy administration and all HUD regulations Ensures compliance with HCV program and HUD regulations related to federally funded vouchersMinimum Requirements
Education & Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Human Services, Business Administration , or related field from an accredited college/university and seven (7) years of progressive experience with housing programs with at least four (4) years progressive management experience.
Or
Master’s degree in Human Services, Business Administration or related field from an accredited college/university and five (5) years of progressive experience with housing programs with at least five (5) years progressive management experience.
Must have progressive experience in management and affordable housing.

Exact compensation will be determined based on the candidate's education, experience, external market data and consideration of internal equity.
