Global Lead for development of Health-Economics models for vaccines in conjunction with external vendors to support access in broad range of marketsLead Health Economic components of global value dossiers and payer value narrative material development that address LOC access hurdlesLead LOC training on HE modelsCo-lead in conjunction with Medical, timely strategic written responses to NITAGs and PayersSupport LOC HTA Submissions and payer negotiationsSupport evidence generation activities for HTA submission.RESPONSIBILITIES
Outcomes driven project management of key global Health Economic deliverables
Strategically drive development of health economics models that address diverse market needs including provincial and national reimbursement across range of markets including EU and emerging markets in LATM and APAC.Strategically drive the development of health economic components of key access material (e.g. Global Value Dossier, value messages) ensuring they meet local market access needs and strategically address access hurdlesEffectively manage external consultants including RFP, selection, execution of contracts, budget management and active strategic guidance of the projects acting as the primary liaison for alignment of Takeda internal strategy and external project deliveryDemonstrate leadership of cross functional team and ability to drive resolutions in the cross functional development of materialDefine and communicate timelines with proactive mitigation of challenges via timely escalationAnticipate challenges and proactively enact solutions as necessaryTechnically sound health economic, statistical and evidence appraisal skills to lead
Critical appraisal of clinical evidence for Value Proposition and HE modelling as well as HE model structure, inputs parameters, sensitivity analysesFinalisation of the HE models and ensuring it meets both internal commercial goals and external payer requirements.Development of complementary evidence to support HTA submissions with meta-analyses, ITC, RWE studies in collaboration with Medical Affairs, Epidemiology and other relevant functions.Co-Lead NITAG HTA taskforce timely written responses to NITAG and payer questions

Basic Qualifications
MSc / PhD in Health Economics/Epidemiology/Statistics.Proven track record and significant experience of delivering HTA submissions and health economic models within a consultancy or pharmaceutical companyProven ability for strategic thinking and working across the business to define, generate and deliver health economics strategy.Excellent leadership and influencing skills with the ability to influence and challenge without line management authorityExcellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to a non-technical audience. Strong enthusiasm with a drive to succeed and the ability to work independentlyProject management skills with ability to work on numerous projects in parallelDisplay solid ethics.Fluent in English (written and verbal)Openness to domestic or international travel will be required, approx. 10% of the timePreferred Qualifications
