**Core Responsibilities**
As Director for Global Capacity Planning, you will play a key role in our global capacity planning within LEGO Operations by effectively balancing supply and demand. More specifically, you will:
+ Lead a high-performing team of six dedicated and skilled colleagues through functional sparring, People Development Plans, etc.
+ Manage global capacity setting in the short term within Supply Chain & Operations Planning (S&OP) horizon and provide global CAPEX recommendations for growth equipment across manufacturing.
+ Own the activity setting for Packing Finished Goods (FG) Supply by breaking down forecasts into volume estimates and setting the master plan for the planning function - including the high/low scenario process.
+ Own the Global Moulding activity setting across all manufacturing sites and manage component inventory.
+ Manage the long term (10-year horizon) capacity agenda, including recommendations for factory expansions, preparation of presentation material at the executive level, etc.
+ Contribute to several strategic projects with global planning insights.
+ Continue strengthening collaboration across departments within the LEGO Operations organisation (Manufacturing, Procurement, Planning, Finance, etc.).

You will join Global Supply Chain Operations being a critical global function within the LEGO Group with the overall purpose of optimizing the balance between supply and demand. The department collaborates across the entire value chain to understand the constantly evolving risk profile of both supply and demand and ultimately secure the necessary trade-off decisions.
The Capacity SO&P team, which you will lead, is responsible for the monthly capacity planning cycle, CAPEX recommendations, global moulding activity management, proposing purchases of moulding and packing machines, controlling component inventory, FG reporting, 10-year planning horizon to forecast future requirements, etc. The team also plays a key role as input providers and participants in many strategically important projects.
**Do you have what it takes?**
The ideal candidate has an extensive understanding of global S&OP processes and the concept of balancing supply and demand to establish aligned capacity support. This functional expertise is critical for delivering high-quality strategic sparring, navigating complex details and potential impacts, validating data with precision, and effectively managing a broad and senior stakeholder landscape. Furthermore, you will bring:
+ Relevant MSc degree within Supply Chain Management, Finance or equivalent.
+ Extensive experience and a proven track record in planning, demand and/or supply within a multinational organization.
+ People management and leadership experience, with a talent for motivating others to succeed.
+ Exceptional analytical proficiency in a supply chain context, with attention to the small data variations that can significantly impact the business.
+ Strong project management skills, preferably on a global level.
+ High level of adaptability and change management skills to thrive in a fast-changing environment and to set new directions in support of this.
+ Strong structuring, communication and presentation skills enabling the translation of complex trade-offs into simple messaging both down and upwards.
+ Excellent collaboration capabilities to manage a complex business and stakeholder landscape across the organization.
+ Proficiency in English both written and verbal.
