Responsibilities

The Director of Finance – LMAs is a key member of the senior management teams for Northstar NJ and IGT-IN, responsible for a wide range of corporate and operational finance functions. These include financial planning and analysis, audits (quarterly, bi-annual, annual), customer accounting, monthly close and reporting, forecasting, budgeting, long-range planning, business partnering, internal controls, modeling, and other strategic financial analyses.

 

This role partners closely with Northstar NJ and IGT-IN segments, lottery customers, and corporate leadership to drive profitable growth, improve efficiency, and increase incentives. Northstar NJ is a partnership between IGT (majority owner) and non-IGT partners, while IGT-IN is a wholly owned IGT subsidiary.

 

This is a hands-on role requiring residency in NJ or IN, with monthly travel to the other location. The Director manages a small team of finance professionals, providing leadership in planning, reporting, accounting, compliance, and strategic decision-making.

 

As a “Trusted Advisor” to senior leadership, the Director contributes to long-term strategy, initiatives, metrics, and portfolio decisions to enhance the global Lottery business.

 

Key responsibilities include:

Establishing and reporting on key operational, financial, and sales metrics. Supporting monthly financial close and reporting packages. Analyzing financial plan variances and emerging trends. Delivering proactive reporting on KPIs, revenue/expense drivers, portfolio mix, and economic indicators. Identifying new product opportunities to drive revenue. Supporting modeling, contract negotiations, and investment decisions. Overseeing NJ Lottery audits (quarterly/annual), NSNJ Opco audits (bi-annual/annual), and IGT internal audits with minimal adjustments. Preparing executive summaries with strategic insights and actionable recommendations, using charts, graphs, and dashboards for senior stakeholders.

 

The Director builds strong relationships with:

Hoosier Lottery leadership (e.g., Lottery and Finance Directors), presenting monthly Governance Documents and annual business plans, and attending quarterly Commissioner Board Meetings. NJ Lottery leadership and Northstar NJ partners (IGT, SGI, Omers), addressing business needs, corporate taxes, shareholder incentives, non-reimbursables, revenue share, capital calls, and presenting financials at quarterly Board of Members Meetings (Opco, Supplyco, Holdco).



Qualifications

Minimum Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or Accounting

Preferred Education:
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Finance, or Accounting

Minimum Experience:
10+ years of experience in Finance, Accounting, or Business

Preferred Experience:
15+ years of experience in Finance, Accounting, or Business

Licenses/Certifications:
CPA preferred, but not required

At IGT, we consider a wide range of factors in determining compensation, including background, skills, experience, and work location. These factors can cause your compensation to vary. The estimated starting compensation range is $117,880 - $240,000. The actual pay offered may end up being higher or lower. The Company will comply with all local pay requirements and collective bargaining agreements, where applicable. 

 

Base pay is only one part of our Total Rewards program.  Sales roles may be eligible for commission payments, while other roles are eligible for discretionary bonuses .  In addition, we offer employees a 401(k) Savings Plan with Company contributions, health, dental, and vision insurance, life, accident, and disability insurance, tuition reimbursement, paid time off, wellness programs, and identity theft insurance.
