Director FCC, Emerging Markets

What does a successful Director of Financial Crimes Compliance, Emerging Markets do? A successful Director of Financial Crimes Compliance, Emerging Markets brings deep expertise in regulatory and compliance requirements for high-risk verticals such as money service businesses, cryptocurrency, gaming, sports wagering, CBD, and cannabis. This role is responsible for identifying and mitigating reputational and regulatory risks, managing complex compliance issues, and leading cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with legal and regulatory standards.

What you will do:

Oversee a broad functional unit within the Financial Crimes Compliance Department.Provide leadership and guidance on legal, regulatory, and compliance programs.Identify and mitigate risk exposure related to high-risk industries.Support business development and new product initiatives with compliance oversight.Supervise and develop managers and staff across multiple locations.Develop and enforce policies, procedures, and programs to minimize risk.Represent the company in regulatory discussions and industry events.Deliver training and manage communications on regulatory changes and compliance strategies.Conduct performance evaluations, manage budgets, and set departmental priorities.

What you will need to have:

6+ years of experience in financial services, payment services, or regulatory environments.Experience in AML and regulatory compliance experience.Experience with financial crimes compliance systems.Bachelor's degree and/or equivalent military experience.

What would be great to have:

JD or other graduate degree.8+ years of experience engaging with regulators and high-profile clients.Familiarity with compliance technology and best practices.Experience managing multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.

This role is on-site Monday through Friday. Salary Range

$136,800.00 - $230,600.00

These pay ranges apply to employees in New Jersey, New York and California. Pay ranges for employees in other states may differ.
