The Director, Facilities & Co-Generation is responsible for providing administrative oversight of Facilities Management, Co-Gen, Operations, and Maintenance of all ministry-owned facilities. This role ensures alignment with Trinity Health’s mission, values, and operational standards while driving performance, regulatory compliance, and cost-effective service delivery. The Director provides expert guidance to regional and local leadership, manages functional teams, and fosters cross-functional collaboration to ensure consistency and high performance across all assigned locations
REQUIREMENTS
1. Bachelor’s degree in a related field is required; Master’s degree preferred. Minimum of seven (7) years of progressive leadership experience.
2. At least five (5) years of hospital maintenance, plant operations, or medical equipment management experience.
3. Knowledge of The Joint Commission (THC), Office of Statewide Healthcare Planning and Development (OSHPD) standards, California state and local administrative codes, NEC, and NFPA is required.
4. CHFM or equivalent professional certification/licensure (CHC, PE) preferred.
5. Strong financial and operational management background.
6. Proficiency in reading and interpreting construction documents (plans and specifications).
7. Knowledge of relevant regulatory standards and agencies including EPA, NFPA, OSHA, TJC, and DNV.
8. Extensive experience with Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) systems in healthcare settings.
9. Ability to meet physical demands including frequent lifting (up to 30 pounds), walking, standing, and exposure to clinical environments.
10. Strong interpersonal and leadership skills to collaborate effectively with diverse internal and external stakeholders.
Pay Range $70.26 - $105.39
