**About the Team**
The Communications leader for UKG’s Chief People Officer (CPO) has an exciting opportunity to help create and amplify the voice of the CPO and the People Team at one of the world’s leading human capital management and workforce management companies. **About the Role**
You will develop and execute a strategic, high-impact communications program that positions our Chief People Officer as a thought leader internally and externally. You’ll bring to life the work of our global people organization, which plays a pivotal role in building a performance-driven, inclusive culture, streamlining operations to fuel business growth, and attracting and retaining the world-class talent that powers our customers’ success.
As the CPO’s communications partner, this role will manage internal and external communications, including social media, customers, and external stakeholders ensuring consistent and impactful communications across all channels.
You’ll collaborate closely with other members of the executive communications teams, as well as internal communications, public relations, and corporate leadership to ensure consistent and high-impact storytelling.
This position requires a strategic thinker with exceptional writing and communication skills, capable of crafting compelling narratives across various mediums that align with the company’s strategic priorities.
Responsibilities:
+ Develop and execute a comprehensive communications strategy aligned with the People strategy.
+ Prepare high-impact messaging, talking points, and content for the CPO for internal, external platforms including Town Halls, leadership meetings, press interviews, events, panels, and social media.
+ Create executive communications such as internal announcements, speeches, presentations, thought leadership, external facing talk tracks & presentations, and blogs/social media content.
+ Translate complex HR initiatives (e.g., event driven Compensation & Benefits, talent development, performance management) into clear, compelling narratives.
+ Ensure consistency and clarity in leadership messaging across channels.
+ Ghostwrite internal and external communications for the CPO [and People leadership team, as needed].
+ In support of the People Team senior leadership team, develop storytelling efforts that highlight employee voices, success stories, and milestones.
+ Support change management communications for organizational transformations
+ Oversee internal communications for CPO across platforms (e.g., email, intranet, Slack, newsletters).
+ Optimize communication cadence and format for different employee segments (e.g., functional, company-wide, country specific, global).
+ Partner with IT or Comms teams to improve digital communication tools and analytics
Basic Qualifications
+ At least 8 – 12 years of communications experience, ideally in the tech or software industry
+ Experience writing communications, speeches and other content for CEO/executive c-suite
+ Exceptional writer, with experience spanning speech writing, messaging and storytelling
+ Proven ability to collaborate with, influence, and manage cross-functional stakeholders
+ Experience in fast-paced, high-growth, or tech environments
+ Strong understanding of organizational culture, HR, and change management principles
Preferred Qualifications
+ Ability to anticipate needs, take initiative, and proactively take action independently without waiting for direction
+ Self-starter who actively seeks out opportunities to contribute and improve processes
+ Proven track record of identifying and addressing issues before they become problems

The pay range for this position is $159,900.00 to $229,800.00, however, base pay offered may vary depending on skills, experience, job-related knowledge and location. This position is also eligible for a short-term incentive and a long-term incentive as part of total compensation.
