As a Director of Health & Safety here at Honeywell, (internally titled _________) you will be responsible for the development, implementation, and management of our organization’s health and safety programs. This position plays a pivotal role in establishing a culture of safety, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations, and promoting the highest standards of well-being for employees and stakeholders. You will lead a team of health and safety professionals, manage budgets, and collaborate with various senior management to drive health and safety excellence.

By meticulously assessing workplace hazards, developing and implementing safety protocols, and conducting regular training programs, you will create a safer working environment. This, in turn, leads to reduced workplace accidents and injuries, lowering worker compensation claims and associated costs, and enhancing Honeywell’s reputation, attracting clients, employees, and investors who value responsible business practices.

Key Responsibilities
+ Develop and implement health, safety, and environmental (HSE) strategies, policies, and programs to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and Honeywell's HSE standards
+ Provide leadership and guidance to site HSE teams, ensuring effective implementation of HSE programs and initiatives
+ Conduct risk assessments and audits to identify potential hazards and develop appropriate control measures
+ Monitor and analyze HSE performance metrics to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions
+ Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate HSE considerations into business processes and decision-making
+ Develop and deliver HSE training programs to increase awareness and promote a culture of safety and environmental stewardship
+ Stay updated on relevant HSE regulations and industry best practices, and ensure compliance with applicable standards
YOU MUST HAVE
+ 6+ years of experience in health and safety, including a minimum of 8+ years in a leadership role.
+ 6+ years of experience Managing a health and safety team
+ Knowledge of health and safety regulations and best practices.
+ Proficiency in budget management and financial acumen.
+ Excellent communication, problem-solving, and strategic planning abilities.

+ Professional certifications in health and safety are a plus
