Position Summary:

The Director of Engineering is responsible for leading and managing engineering projects from concept through execution, ensuring alignment with organizational goals, budget constraints, and operational excellence. This role oversees cross-functional engineering teams, collaborates closely with manufacturing plant leadership and personnel, and presents strategic insights and project outcomes to executive leadership.

Key Responsibilities:

Project Leadership ExecutionDirect and manage multiple engineering projects, ensuring timely delivery within scope and budget.Develop and monitor project budgets, resource allocation, and timelines.Drive standardization of best practices in project management and engineering methodologies.Provide technical support to Linde’s global electronics organization.Team ManagementLead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team of engineers and technical staff.Foster a culture of innovation, accountability, and continuous improvement.Conduct performance reviews and support career development initiatives.Compliance SafetyEnsure all engineering activities comply with industry standards, safety regulations, and company policies.Be a visible leader in promoting a safe and inclusive work environment.Cross-Functional CollaborationPartner with product management and sales to align engineering initiatives with business growth objectives.Facilitate effective communication between engineering, operations, safety, quality, and supply chain teams.Strategic Planning ReportingPresent project updates, technical findings, and strategic recommendations to executive leadership.Contribute to long-term planning and innovation roadmaps. Analyze engineering performance metrics and implement improvements.
