**Summary of Position (Job Purpose)** _- Major purpose and functions of the position._
The position is for the creative, production, and operational output of the Dollar Tree marketing team. This includes the conceptualization, production, and execution of full funnel marketing engaging content to increase brand awareness and to strengthen our brand positioning and drive incr. traffic and sales growth. This team will support the marketing priorities of communication and calendar of events including monthly planning, seasonal events, and overall campaigns. Success entails being a very strong and collaborative partner with the Brand Marketing and Merchandising teams to drive consistency in our holistic go to market plans. This includes maintaining brand standards to ensure a consistent brand experience across all touchpoints, both internal and external.
The role is also responsible for In-Store Signage production processes, leading marketing signage projects and inputting into the future look and feel of the store as well as executing against seasonal marketing promotional campaigns. This also includes ensuring our in-store signage is noticeable, effective, and easy to install based on customer and field input.
The position also oversees in-store marketing production and logistics including ownership and management of the annual/monthly expense budgets and revenue process, forecasting, billing and regular reporting of performance vs. expense and revenue targets.
**Principal Duties and Responsibilities** _- Primary responsibilities listed in order of importance_
+ Define and develop all content strategy and creative that aligns with company goals, campaigns, and seasons.
+ Own marketing and editorial content and creative production that aligns with annual calendar and company goals, programs, and seasons across all paid and owned channels, ensuring consistently high creative standards matching the brand equity and style guide.
+ Lead in-store signage production processes and lead marketing signage projects while managing the relationship with signage, production, and vendor partners.
+ Oversee the photo studio ensuring high quality and custom content, and speed of delivery of product photograph for marketing and ecommerce purposes. Includes delivering all ecommerce imagery on time to enable loading new and updating existing sku content on the app and web.
+ Continuously drive effectiveness and efficiencies, leveraging best practice processes and technologies to deliver and improve results while reducing costs.
+ Ensure all outputs across marketing content and ops, are delivered on time in budget and in partnership with key partners including Brand Marketing and Merchandising.
+ Owns marketing production and logistics including ownership and management of annual/monthly expense budgets and revenue process, forecasting, billing and regular reporting of performance vs. expense and revenue targets.
+ Leverage customer and field input to ensure in-store materials are effective at driving awareness and engagement while also being easy to install via field resources.
+ Assist with internal marketing campaign needs including the Diversity team campaigns, annual summits, and leadership headshots and pictures as needed.
**Minimum Requirements/Qualifications** _- Summary of knowledge, experience and education required._
+ BA/BS. MBA preferred.
+ Experience: Minimum 10 or more years of Creative or Brand Marketing experience in Retail and CPG.
+ 5+ years in a management or leadership role with success developing direct reports.
+ Demonstrated expertise in designing, executing, and producing engaging creative and content across a wide variety of tools and tactics.
+ Expertise implementing a company-wide brand strategy with a track record for having developed and successfully executed creative, customer-oriented multi-media marketing programs.
+ Experience in managing creative teams and developing and executing against agile production schedules.
+ Experience in managing agency relationships. Integrated communications experience, strategic alliance development and strategic planning.
+ Knowledge of print and signage production processes
+ Demonstrated passion to help maintain the brand equity through proactive development of brand style guides and consistent brand content.
+ Strong creative and analytical skills, and expertise in marketing content and creative best practices across all media channels.
+ Excellent communication skills – both verbal and written – at all levels of management.
+ Ability to build bridges and alliances with key business partners – managing expectations and adeptly communicating strategies and tactics throughout the company.
+ Record of personal leadership and sound judgment, with a track record of attracting, hiring and retaining a strong team of qualified marketing professionals.
