To learn more about playing for Team Amcor, visit www.amcor.com | LinkedIn | YouTube **Responsibilities** PURPOSE: Theindividual will leadCorporate Plant Engineering Teams, providing guidance related to improving programs and projectdevelopmentwith focus inGlobal RPSand acrossall disciplinesof Plant Engineering. **RESPONSIBILITIES:** + Develop and train engineering staff. + Support plants to reduce risk of safety events and improve reliability. + Respond to any emergency or potential emergency following established procedures. + Successfully evaluate asset conditions and help prioritizeasset replacements. + Successfully complete Primary Duties as outlined below. **AUTHORITIES:** + “Stop work” in any facility when potentially unsafe conditions or employee or supplier practices areobserved. + Initiate action to prevent occurrences of any non-conformity of product or quality systems + Initiate, recommend or provide solutions through designated channels + Suggest actions for continual improvement to products, processes,facilitiesor systems and verify the implementation of solutions. **PRIMARY DUTIES** : Includetasks assigned by the VP Engineering Services, in addition to: + Workclosely with Plant Engineering team, provide guidance and objective goals tofosterprofessional development. + Promote best practices andestablishguidelines related to plant systems to ensuresafe and reliable operation.  + Interact withplantand operationalleadership teamsto prioritize andexecute oncritical infrastructure needs. + Provide technical support in evaluating capital projects to maximize impact of investments.  + Provide direction on ourutility managementprograms, supportutility reduction and cost savings initiatives.  + Provide leadership and oversite of theElectrical Safety and compliance programs. + Develop andmaintainstrategic vendor relationships with preferred partners andOEM’s. + Assistin budgeting of and execution of:equipment moves, plant consolidation and expansion projects to ensure infrastructure is in place to supportchanges in businessoperations. + Assistwithproperty insurance risks andreal estate projects as needed.  Assistwith lease exits, sales, etc. + Assign work and provide updates on project milestones…budget, schedule, execution. + Continuouslyimprove department programsto bring the most value to operational stakeholders. **Qualifications** + Bachelor’s Degree in Engineeringor related field + Minimum8years of experience in engineering related to manufacturing support and operations. + Outstanding written and oral communication skills. + Proven ability to conceptualize, design, lead and manage improvement projects. + Broad knowledge of plant operations and infrastructure support systems. + Strong interpersonal communications skills and the ability to motivate and influence others. + Ability to manage confidential matters, exercise goodjudgement, andwork well under time constraints. + Ability to travel up to 50% of the time **PREFERRED SKILLS / EXPERIENCE:** MBA and/or equivalent business acumen Experience leading engineering professionals Knowledge of Berry’s manufacturing processes **Additional Info** **Contact** **Equal Opportunity Employer/Minorities/Females/Disabled/Veterans/Sexual Orientation/Gender Identity** Amcor is an Equal Opportunity Employer and all qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, disability status, protected veteran status, or any other characteristic protected by law.
