**The role you'll contribute:**
The Director of Communications, Marketing, and Member Engagement reports directly to the VP, Chief Operating Officer of our Population Health Services Organization and ensures the organization effectively communicates on behalf of and to all stakeholders. The Director will bring experience and a proven record of success in all aspects including media management, strategic business communication, physician communication, internal communication, member (patient) communication, change communication and digital communication. The Director will be responsible for strategically developing and operationally executing all aspects of the annual PHSO communications roadmap. Responsibility includes physician communications, member communications, internal team communications and external team communications. The Director is also responsible for assisting all PHSO leaders across the department with their communication needs and the needs of their operations. In addition, the Director will oversee the deployment of communication ensuring that a diverse set of communication channels are available, used and tracked for effectiveness.
The Director will be responsible for the PHSO Communications Team and assess and monitor work productivity. In addition to their permanent team, this leader will oversee the work product of ad-hoc committees that represent multiple teams and areas of discipline depending on the project need. The Director is also responsible for collaborating with AdventHealth Marketing department leadership and colleagues on communications, issues management and sensitive public relations efforts with high member and provider impact. The Director is responsible for the team that creates collateral and marketing content development, writing and/or editing a wide array of communications materials, including digital content (website, blog posts, social media, etc.), scripting, newsletters, business announcements, etc. The Director will treat all internal PHSO departments as individual clients and assist them with their communication needs in order to meet their quarterly and annual strategic initiatives. The Director is responsible for understanding the communication needs and priorities of the Provider and Enablement and Performance, Clinical Quality, Clinical Operations, Finance, and Network Development Teams. This will require the Director to have the acumen to understand and distill strategic messages and the technical skill to develop relevant written content for a variety of audiences. In addition, the Director will be the owner of deploying all PHSO mass communications.
The Director is responsible for designing, developing, executing and measuring the effectiveness of member and beneficiary messaging, communication, and engagement strategies. These strategies may include onboarding, education, implementation of member/beneficiary benefit enhancements or incentives to promote engagement. The Director will leverage robust omnichannel communication platforms and develop processes and technology for the tailored execution. The Director will work cross-functionally to execute these initiatives to achieve the stated goals, leveraging internal tools, and resources, and working collaboratively with teams inside and outside of the PHSO and Primary Health Division. The Director works closely with the AIT teams, digital/web teams, and vendors to deliver effective digital content for all audiences, measuring communication and marketing effectiveness and using feedback to improve future efforts. The Director is responsible for working closely with AIT colleagues and vendors to achieve PHSO communication deadlines.

+ Supports the VP, COO in a leadership capacity with planning, budgeting and staffing allocation for the department.
+ Develops and oversees the communications, marketing, and member engagement strategies to increase and drive support to other areas of the enterprise.
+ Develops and supports communication collateral to communicate with providers on behalf of the CIN, ACO and all other PHSO related networks.
+ Works directly with PHSO leaders to develop communication that aligns to the networks customer-centered tone and style: streamlined, easy to understand, engaging and brand appropriate and provides input on creative direction as needed.
+ Develops and leads out on external thought leadership and media opportunities for brand recognition and growth with sole responsibility for PHSOs visibility and industry recognition. Executes an annual thought leadership plan for PHSO in collaboration with corporate communication leaders.
+ Responsible for selecting and managing applicable vendor resources/relationships. Serves as the liaison for payor partners giving insight to their member communication plans, developing and approving any necessary cobranded materials, and identifying opportunities for physician communication collaboration to enhance and streamline network communication.
+ Works directly with executives at AdventHealth and throughout the markets the PHSO serves to develop written communication strategies necessary for the success of population health initiatives; including, but not limited to, content development and implementation of best practice tools.
+ Leads the development of a member/beneficiary messaging, communications, and engagement strategy for the Managed Population Risk Division that aims to welcome/onboard, educate, engage, incentivize, and provide ongoing guidance to members and beneficiaries regarding services and benefits available to them within the program structure, and to assist with navigating the healthcare system. Knowledgeable on government program requirements and ensures compliance within the team and strategies executed.
+ Works collaboratively with clinical, population health, and consumer/experience teams to develop a member engagement platform.
+ Works with PHSO Network President, Provider Enablement and Performance and Network Development team members for annual physician network communication planning needs.
+ Drafts, edits and approves all finalized physician communication and ensures all communication meets AdventHealth branding standards and PHSO strategic priorities.
**The expertise and experiences you'll need to succeed** **:**
**Minimum Qualifications -**
+ 5 years of relevant experience required
+ 5 years of leadership experience required
+ Strong track record of successful collaboration with other leaders; demonstrated commitment to helping develop and coach team members and creating and maintaining a positive and productive work environment.
