Director Clinical Analytics & Outcome Measurement (MD)

PRIMARY FUNCTION

The Director of Clinical Analytics & Outcome Measurement will lead Pediatric Associates’ outcomes measurement and publication strategy. Ideally an MD with expertise in analytics/AI, clinical outcome measurement and strong track record of publications. This leader will validate outcomes, partner with top-tier academic institutions, and publish results in leading journals and conferences — positioning PA as the national leader in pediatric outcomes.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Build and implement an enterprise-wide framework for measuring, tracking, and reporting clinical outcomes Establish independent measurement for pediatric disease management and care management programs, defining standards for what “good” looks like and evaluating outcomes across multiple programs. Partner with the Data Science & AI team to review and validate predictive models and generative AI solutions from a clinical perspective, ensuring accuracy, safety, and clinical relevance. Establish research collaborations with academic institutions. Author and publish outcomes in peer-reviewed journals and present at national forums. Serve as internal subject-matter expert on clinical quality and outcomes.

 

QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION:

MD (required) with training in outcomes research, health informatics, or similar field.

EXPERIENCE:

Minimum 7 years related work experience, including 3 years of managerial experience, or equivalent combination of education and work experience. Experience with clinical analytics and peer-reviewed publications. Knowledge of AI/ML applications in healthcare. Strong relationships with academic/clinical research networks.

 

 

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES

Deep understanding of pediatric medicine, disease management, and care management models. Strong background in health data analytics, predictive modeling, and AI/ML applications in clinical care. Skilled in outcomes research design, statistical methods, and peer-reviewed publication. Strong orientation toward independent measurement, benchmarking, and continuous improvement of clinical programs.

TYPICAL WORKING CONDITIONS

Non-patient facing. May be either full time remote/telework or rotate working in the office and remote/telework. If remote, this job must be U.S. based. Indoor work; professional office environment. Operating computer. Reach outward.
