We currently have an opportunity for a Director of Client Strategy - Employee Benefits.

SUMMARY OF RESPONSIBILITIES:
As a Director of Client Strategy, you will take the lead in strengthening client relationships and driving strategic growth. This role blends client service, business development, and internal leadership. You will advise HR Leaders and Executive Teams, helping them shape benefit strategies that support their workforce and business goals. While also collaborating closely with internal teams to deliver a high-impact client experience.


SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES:
Client Strategy, Retention and Growth:

Take ownership of cases of key clients, ensuring they receive service and strategic guidance.Serve as an experienced advisor to HR, finance, and executive leaders, helping them navigate complex topics like workforce planning, cost management, and benefits.• Develop and present proposals, renewal strategies, and long-term benefit plans that align with client goals.• Prospect and qualify growth opportunities, both within existing accounts and new relationships, by building strong internal and external networks.• Clearly communicate the unique value of HUB’s services and demonstrate how we bring innovation, insight, and measurable impact to our clients.


Team and Enterprise Leadership:

Lead cross functional collaboration among service teams to deliver consistent, high-quality outcomes.Oversee the full client lifecycle, including onboarding, renewals, and everything in between to ensure client satisfaction.• Mentor and support team members to help them grow professionally.• Contribute to the National Best Practices Committee.

Strategic Planning and Operational Excellence:

Build business plans that align with our overall EB and enterprise goals.Champion innovation and lead change initiatives that drive transformation across client segments.• Stay ahead of industry and market trends, and adjust strategies as needed to keep clients competitive and compliant.• Manage performance outcomes, oversee budgets, and guide team execution across complex books of business.• Use data and reporting tools to generate insights that matter to clients and internal stakeholders.


Industry Leadership and Market Presence:

Build and maintain strong relationships with carriers, vendors, and other key partners to support client success.Represent HUB with confidence and professionalism in the marketplace, helping to grow our reputation as a trusted, forward-thinking partner.Stay updated on regulatory updates, technology trends, as well as market trends and keep clients and colleagues informed.


Other Duties:

Perform other duties and projects as assigned to support the team and ensure smooth business operations.


QUALIFICATIONS:

10+ years of experience in employee benefits consulting, strategic client leadership or enterprise HR advisory.Bachelor's degree or similar credentials preferred.A strong history of managing complex client relationships and delivering business growth.Executive-level communication skills, with a strategic mindset and the ability to simplify complexity.Deep expertise in group insurance, plan funding, compliance, benefits technology, and financial analysis.Strong business acumen and the ability to connect benefits strategy to big-picture goals.

Department Account Management & Service

Required Experience: 7-10 years of relevant experience

Required Travel: No Travel Required

Required Education: High school or equivalent
