Job Description An insurance client is looking for a Director - Actuary to lead the ISG modeling team which includes the IDI (individual disability) and EB (employee benefits) modeling teams. Core responsibilities include managing the team, this person will have four direct reports, one of which being a manager with a team of individual contributors. This includes training, coaching, and developing an effective workforce. The other core function of the role is financial modeling, and modeling stewardship. This includes strong understanding of model usages across the ISG business line which includes JFSA, CFT, and Duration Measurement. Providing insight while collaborating with other leaders for governance best practices and valuation model stewardship. FSA designation is required, along with experience in the specific insurance lines of business such as IDI and/or EB. This company sits fully remote and is open to any time zone within the US.
