What will you be doing?

Build and lead a global data platform management team responsible for both on-premise and cloud data platforms including Cloudera, Databricks, Snowflake, SQL Server, Oracle and many othersMake key strategical decisions on how to grow and maintain IQVIAs data platformsImplement and oversee ITIL best practice adoptionDrive the way we organize and optimize service operations through continuous improvementPlan and control data platform budgets and vendor contractsCreate team strategy aligned with organizational goalsHelp your team to learn and grow adapting to changing needsHire, manage, motivate, and mentor so your team is successful Co-create a culture of collaboration, accountability, and innovation where everyone feels they belong

What is required to get the job done?

5+ years of line management experience in data management10+ years experience in operations and service management roles Proven experience of implementing ITIL best practices on global scaleVery strong people leadership skillsSelf-motivation, initiative, and ability to drive changes to successful endExcellent communication skills, ability to communicate most complex problems to different stakeholdersPositive can-do attitudeBeing a great team player
