The Director, Transformation will lead and oversee governance and reporting for transformation initiatives across Global Wealth Management Technology. In addition to partnering with teams in project preparation and execution, this role will be responsible for the development of executive reports, updating executive teams on delivery progress, building robust stakeholder communications, and providing thought leadership on large-scale programs by guiding a high-performing team. **Is this role right for you? In this role you will:** + Oversee the planning, execution, and monitoring of transformation projects across multiple Wealth business lines to ensure they meet the strategic objectives + Support Delivery teams in the development of business cases for new projects, ensuring alignment with the strategic objectives + Collaborate with the Value Office to ensure business cases are robust and support the bank's goals. + Develop, prepare and present high-level reports to senior executives (VP, SVP, EVP), providing insights and recommendations based on data analysis and program outcomes. + Oversee the development of executive reporting and insights including Operating Committee (SVP) and Value Realization Committee (EVP) + Facilitate executive sessions with senior leadership (VP+) to discuss progress, challenges, and strategic direction. + Foster a culture of innovation by introducing new ideas and approaches to improve project lift-off, execution and tracking. + Utilize visual storytelling techniques to effectively communicate complex information and data to executives (SVP+) + Develop visual content that simplifies and clarifies transformation initiatives for diverse audiences. + Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, ensuring their needs and expectations are met. + Engage with stakeholders to gather feedback and incorporate it into transformation strategies. + Provide thought leadership and consultation on the delivery of large, complex programs. + Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team, promoting a collaborative and inclusive work environment. + Implement a people strategy that attracts, retains, develops, and motivates team members. + Ensure clear and consistent communication across all levels of the organization. + Define, measure, and monitor the success of transformation initiatives. + Foster an inclusive work environment that promotes high performance and continuous improvement. + Communicate vision, values, and business strategy to the team, managing succession and development planning. **Do you have the skills that will enable you to succeed in this role? We'd love to work with you if you have:** + Bachelor's degree with focus on Business, Technology, Transformation, Communications, or a related field. + Over 10 years of progressive experience in program or project management, with a strong emphasis on leading and delivering large-scale, complex engagements or initiatives. + Proven track record in planning, managing, tracking, and reporting on large programs, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives. + Demonstrated excellence in leadership and team-building skills, with the ability to mentor and develop high-performing teams. + Experience in building strong, trusted relationships with key stakeholders and working collaboratively across various functions. + Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to craft and deliver compelling presentations for executive audiences. + Strong business acumen and experience in presenting to senior leaders, providing insights and recommendations based on data analysis. + Highly flexible and adaptable, capable of thriving in ambiguous and rapidly changing environments. + Forward-thinking with a holistic approach to problem-solving, able to anticipate challenges and develop innovative solutions. + Excellent analytical, problem-solving, negotiating, facilitating, and decision-making skills. + Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously. + Deep understanding of organizational issues and challenges, with the ability to align transformation initiatives with business goals. + Strong business acumen, with the ability to analyze complex data and provide actionable insights. **What's in it for you?** + Diversity, Equity, Inclusion & Allyship - We strive to create an inclusive culture where every employee is empowered to reach their fullest potential, respected for who they are, and are embraced through bias-free practices and inclusive values across Scotiabank.
