Here you are supported, here you are celebrated, here you can thrive. **Your New Role...** The Director, Toys is responsible for developing and executing long-term global strategies, as well as key account management of top global toy licensees. Leads global contract negotiations, drives global RFP (Request for Proposal) process, and manages portfolio of all North America category partners across assigned subcategories to drive distribution, reach, relevance, and achieve annual revenue targets. **Your Role Accountabilities...** + Identifies, evaluates, and executes long-term category strategies (2- 3 years out) for assigned sub-categories + Responsible for portfolio of all NAM category partners across assigned subcategories to drive distribution, reach, relevance, and revenues + Owns and monitors quarterly forecast and annual budget + Responsible for contract negotiation, modifications, and renewals of licensing deals + Owns annual sub-category initiatives, revenue, and execution for each Spring & Fall selling seasons + Responsible for global key account management of top global toy licensees which includes setting global business strategy, championing partner regional and local accountability, and key stake holder management + Drives global RFP (Request for Proposal) process with all WBD regions/markets, external partners to ensure a smooth execution from setting of business ambition, to evaluating proposals, securing alignment on final partner selection and leading global contract negotiation + Responsible for building new operational pipelines to serve new business areas which includes setting up cross functional workflows and deliver on aggressive financial growth targets + In coordination with Product Development, Franchise Management and VP, the Director is tasked with increasing exposure of WBD brands through unique product and marketing partnerships with industry leading companies + Interfaces frequently with senior management providing business updates, internal and external formal presentations and participate in strategy discussions + Liaises with licensees and internal departments to support licensee sales efforts, including marketing, brand assurance, retail business development, and public relations + Evaluates competitive landscape and industry key learnings for category, brand and age segmentation while identifying gaps and opportunities to gain market share. Identifies and evaluates new potential partners. **Qualifications & Experience...** **Work Experience** + 10 plus years of experience in Licensing industry with background in Toys preferred. **Education, Professional Training, Technical Training or Certification** + Bachelor’s degree preferred. **Knowledge/Skills** Verbal & Written Communication + Effectively models excellent communication and presentation skills. + Active questioning and listening skills are implemented consistently. + Confidently turns complex messages and facts into simple stories to aid understanding and support fulfilment of business objectives. + Creates and delivers strategic, engaging, and persuasive presentations confidently. + Applies solution selling skills to the way business is conducted every day. Strategy & Planning + Implements clear strategic plans for the division, based on market, consumer, and business insights. + Drives changes in business practices to future proof partner engagement and revenue potential. + Measures performance against set of KPIs. + Actively contributes to long-range planning both internally and with business partners. + Provides input and challenge to proposals. + Displays excellent understanding of business frameworks and process dependencies, makes decisions, and takes actions considering mid-long-term impact on WBDCP. + Encourages and demonstrates entrepreneurial behaviour and calculated risk taking. People Management & Development + Demonstrates and drives a culture of feedback and coaching. + Identifies and drives participation in training, development and career growth opportunities for team members and self. + Is a brand and talent ambassador for WBDCP internally. + Identifies talent needs and feeds into Leadership talent discussions as requested. + Provides appropriate mentoring to effectively guide others. + Actively and regularly seeks and incorporates feedback from others. Base pay is just one component of Warner Bros. Discovery’s total compensation package for employees. Pay Range: $133,000.00 - $247,000.00 salary per year. Other rewards may include annual bonuses, short- and long-term incentives, and program-specific awards. In addition, Warner Bros.
