You’ll ensure our Total Rewards and HR Systems teams work hand-in-hand to deliver an exceptional employee experience, while partnering with senior HR leadership to keep our programs competitive, compliant, and mission-driven.
What to Expect Schedule: Monday - Friday This position will have a hybrid work environment operating from the Scottsdale, AZ location 3 days per week and working from a remote/ at-home office 2 days per week. As the Director, Total Rewards, you'll get to:
Lead, mentor, and develop team members to deliver high-quality Total Rewards and HR Systems services.Partner with senior HR leaders to design and implement strategic plans and initiatives supporting compensation, benefits, well-being, and HR systems.Oversee job analysis, job descriptions, market data reviews, salary grades, and FLSA classifications.Manage system-wide compensation and benefits programs, including annual merit and salary planning.Direct the administration of employee benefit programs, wellness initiatives, service awards, leave of absence, and disability programs.Oversee relationships with consultants, vendors, and service providers to ensure optimal performance and value.Ensure compliance with all relevant federal and state regulations, filings, and reporting requirements.Serve as a subject matter expert and internal consultant Knowledge/ Education Bachelor's degree in a related area required.Strong subject matter expertise and knowledge of state and federal wage and hour regulations required including ERISA, ACA. FLSA, FMLA, HIPAA, COBRA.Broad knowledge of compensation and benefit programs required. Licenses/Certifications Certification as a PHR, SPHR, GHR, and/or CCP and/or CBP preferred. Experience Ten years human resources experience required. To include: Eight years compensation and benefits experienceMulti-state environment experience. Previous experience with HRIS including Benefits and Compensation Administration modules required.Five years’ experience leading staff and projects required. Skills/Abilities Strong oral and written business communications skills. Effective presentation skills.Excellent analytical, statistical, personal organization and problem-solving skills.Ability to work well with all levels of staff and management.Ability to work independently and in a team environment.Ability to plan and organize a diversified and heavy workload.Participative leadership style, team development and coaching skillsMust maintain confidentiality.Proficient computer skills including Microsoft applications and advanced Excel.
