Job Summary
Be responsible for Global Tax Strategy, Compliance and Planning. To provide appropriate tax guidance against all the tax needs of the business divisions and group functions, and maintain a sustainable tax control of Rosewood Hotel Group, including but not limited to Corporate entities in HK, Mainland China, US, Netherland, UK, Brazil, Greece, Philippines, Japan and etc.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Develop and implement global tax planning strategies and policies that align with company goals and business objectives to drive long-term impact.Manage transfer pricing policies, documentation, and compliance with local requirements.Lead and ensure compliance with all local statutory tax filing requirements, including Corporate Income Tax, VAT filings, and tax audits (if applicable) for each local entity.Support all tax calculations in the accounting and budgeting process and liaise with external auditors during the annual audit.Engage in tax research and tax advisory support to help identify, recommend, and implement tax effective solutions.Provide internal tax support, including advising on tax terms in contract reviews, conducting internal training, and handling any other ad-hoc tasks.Develop and maintain relationships with tax authorities and external tax advisors.Model the Company’s culture, vision, mission, and core values at all times.Required Skills
Strong knowledge of tax principles with respect to Corporate Income Tax, Value Added Tax, Withholding Tax, Transfer Pricing, International Tax and an awareness and understanding of global tax reporting regimesStrong analytical and problem-solving skills, and capable of working under pressureStrong inter-personal skills and the ability to develop strong working relationships with internal and external stakeholdersAn excellent communicator with strong presentation skills and good command of both written and spoken EnglishBachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or business relatedCertified Public Accountant Certification or equivalentAt least 10 years tax experience in Multinational Companies (with at least 5 years in managerial position) and Big 4 experience is highly preferredInternational Tax experience is desirable. Strong tax knowledge and rich experience in dealing with and convincing tax authorities in terms of tax controversies, tax audit and tax projects.
