As the Director of TA - Corporate Functions, this role will lead the global hiring strategy for Finance, Legal and P&P. You will manage and lead a global talent acquisition team, innovate, design, develop and deploy transformative talent acquisition practices and drive strategic outcomes for the business. This leader will work directly with Workday’s executive leaders and partners to mentor & support select organizations talent needs, lead, encourage and empower a high functioning team to deliver against recruiting goals and drive both short and long-term initiatives. The ideal candidate is an exceptional leader and has a proven commitment to the collective and individual success of their team.
Responsibilities:
Build collaborative partnerships with the business, and cross-functional partners.
Mold TA strategy to fit business needs.
Seek opportunities to build and drive creative networking efforts through a variety of channels and resources including the Workday product, building talent communities through social talent outreach.
Understand sophisticated business processes across multiple workforces in a hyper growth company.
Partner with COEs to deliver customized recruitment strategies to the business with deep understanding of collaborative partnerships to build out a robust hiring plan and actively run.
Proactively builds and implements a strong recruitment strategy to effectively achieve ambitious hiring goals through accurate forecasting and strong leadership.
Owns weekly business and quarterly reporting on business and team hiring goals.
Participates in and drives projects and initiatives to streamline processes & make a strong impact on both their own team and overall recruiting org.
Ability to analyze and leverage data to accurately forecast and help team drive effective recruitment strategies.
Inspire positive experience for everyone; always looking at how to improve the candidate experience and influence the business in the importance of the candidate experience.
About You
Required Qualifications:
5+ years’ experience in a recruiting leadership role, leading a team of recruiters, experience partnering with senior executives.
10+ years recruiting experience with a proven track record of meeting and exceeding team and individual hiring targets while staying passionate about outstanding candidate experience and client management.
Must be bilingual in English and Spanish.
Other Qualifications:
Ability to learn quickly, be proactive, agile, assume ownership for broad tracks of work, and drive, influence the business.
Experience in successfully scaling Global Programs with measurable KPI’s .
Analytical Mindset: metrics & results driven.
Champion of Talent Acquisition standard methodologies with an emphasis on D&I initiatives.
Must possess exceptional influencing skills to establish credibility, trust with internal customers, and build collaborative relationships with partners in the business.
Experience leading remote employees/contractors preferred.
Proven track record of recruiting, empowering, training, developing, and retaining staff.
Strong business acumen and ability to form relationships and understand the needs of the business.
Results-driven individual with communication, presentation, and organizational skills.
Strong operational experience in reporting and data analysis to drive strategy and achieve quarterly hiring goals.
Experience in leading large, business critical initiatives shown to impact the overall business.
Excellent influencing and communication skills with the ability to present data to key Executives, establishing credibility and building trust with team and client groups.
Proven success leading, motivating, and inspiring a seasoned team to achieve great results.
