The Director of Talent Acquisition is responsible for leading a team to deliver high-quality hires through innovative strategies, processes, and tools. This role involves strategic leadership, operational excellence, and stakeholder management to support the company's growth and talent needs.
Job Duties and Responsibilities
+ Team Leadership: Recruits, develops, and sustains a high-performing team while promoting a culture of shared accountability, operational excellence, and partnership across the organization. The leader will foster collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.
+ Strategic Planning: Develop and execute a forward-thinking, proactive talent acquisition strategy aligned with business goals.
+ Strategic Advisor: Act as a trusted advisor to stakeholders, building trust, providing insights and guidance to make informed talent decisions that align with the organization's goals and objectives.
+ Operational Excellence: Drive process improvements, leverage data for insights, and ensure a seamless candidate experience.
+ Technology & Tools: Implement and optimize recruitment technologies and tools to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
+ Employer Branding: Strengthen the company's employer brand through strategic partnerships and targeted campaigns.
+ Vendor Management: Manage relationships with external vendors to ensure high-quality service delivery.
+ Models Thrivent’s leadership competencies: Model the Way, Rally the Team, and Deliver Outcomes.
+ Culture Champion: Supports and/or develops an environment in which Thrivent employees and colleagues are focused on continuous improvement, exceptional employee engagement, and an unwavering commitment to our clients. Required Job Qualifications
+ 8+ years of leadership experience in talent acquisition, with a proven track record of leading and developing teams.
+ Strong understanding of talent markets and recruitment technologies enabling market insights.
+ Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
+ Data-driven decision-making and problem-solving abilities.
Preferred Job Qualifications
+ 4+ years leading leaders is preferred
+ Experience working in a Product Operating Model environment.
Pay Transparency

The applicable salary or hourly wage range for this full-time role is $158,271.00 - $214,132.00 per year, which factors in various geographic regions. The base pay actually offered will be determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to, location, relevant experience, skills, and knowledge, business needs, market demand, and other factors Thrivent deems important.
